Also precedent for moving a game, from the same season as the St Mirren - Rangers (1872) game. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2007–08_Scottish_Premier_League http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/m/motherwell/7298496.stm -
The Christian Theology Education Thread
eindhovendee replied to coprolite's topic in The General Nonsense Forum
I was like that at a work colleague's Catholic wedding. Everybody kept standing up and shaking hands, I was joining in and quite enjoying myself. Afterwards it was pointed out that I had said "pleased to meet you" to the same two people at least three times and others twice. I had no idea I was meant to say "peace be with you". What makes it worse is that Mum was a Catholic and the church was next door to the house. -

After a pitch invasion by Trabzonspor fans who attacked Fenerbahce players the fans are having the vote whether to stay in the league! Seems fans there might actually have some power. From Goal.com. The result of the vote will be huge. If the unthinkable happens and Fenerbahce are no longer part of the Super Lig, they could theoretically apply to neighbouring countries, such as Greece, Bulgaria or Romania, to join a new domestic league. Expatriated clubs playing abroad does already happen around the world for various reasons, but this would be the most high profile example. Alternatively, Fenerbahce members could vote to remain, but the process getting this far at least ought to spark change in Turkish football and how it manages the behaviour of fans and personnel. https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/fenerbahce-to-withdraw-turkish-super-lig-date-set-extraordinary-decision-attacks-trabzonspor-fans/bltdbab99267c36aa34#cs6298d38eaa8d84cb https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/68708615 I dont think it's an April Fool.

Tricky one but I think you'd be best to report it to the police, you only need to say that you hadn't noticed at the time due to outside noise/busy traffic etc and you don't know where it happened but if anyone has damage from your car this is why. If the man waving arms makes anything of it or has CCTV then you could end up in the shit, having a "failing to stop after an accident" charge on your insurance would make the premiums rocket on top of possible fines and points. I depressingly worked in car insurance for two years and this was almost as bad as having a "driving without insurance" charge on your record for increasing the premiums.

On the plus side, my microwave and oven clocks are now at the correct time, first time since end of October. -
Depends which kind of dog they get, Great Danes only last about 7 years, few others not so long either, some little dogs are around the 13/14 year mark. Depends how healthy your parents are before getting them a present.

It gets worse. The noises I make putting socks on are ridiculous and if I have to tie my shoelaces after eating I sound like I'm being tortured. I had frozen shoulder about 8 years ago, it got really bad and was sent by a GP to a specialist, he just said it was that, nothing he could do to help, take painkillers and it will go away in EIGHTEEN MONTHS. it went away 18 months later. -
