  1. Chiriches turning what should be a routine home win for Napoli into a decent contest. Some truly awful defending from him so far.
  2. Juve grind out another win to nil thanks to two hilarious and completely avoidable red cards for Chievo. They were never in any danger of conceding, but were pretty laboured up top without Dybala again.
  3. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/celtic-furious-stewart-regan-putting-11908178 SFA organise friendlies on scheduled international friendly dates. Celtic are raging about it.
  4. This is a Sky one, but Andy Walker's 'analysis' in the Edinburgh Derby was utterly dreadful yesterday. When they were showing replays of the goal, he screamed 'the backspin has taken the ball into the net' about 4 times. Something anyone with a functioning pair of eyes could have seen for themself.
  5. He got a poor reference due to a measly 1 goal and 1 assist in 12 games and for being a lazy b*****d.
  6. Textbook definition of 'Championship jobber'.
  7. Think it lasted 2 matches. We also had competitions to let folk watch a game from a truck cab and a crane. What a club
  8. Excluding a couple of diddy cup games in August, we haven't won a match when Taiwo has been out. I'd avoid us if he doesn't play.
  9. Mental ending to the Nantes-PSG match. PSG are breaking down the park and a Nantes player who's chasing back accidentally bundles the referee over. As the ref is getting back to his feet he appears to have a kick out at the player. When the play stops, the ref gives him a second yellow which appears to be for complaining about the attempted kick
  10. Mind in the summer when everyone was saying Barca were in crisis?
  11. Speaking of Messi, that's a cracking free kick to seal the comeback. One of the best games I've seen for awhile. They were getting bodied in the first half, but it's been one-way traffic since the equaliser.
  12. What a turnaround. Suarez's first goal was outrageous
  13. 2-0 now for Sociedad and deserved. Their high press is stopping Barca getting any meaningful attacks and they're causing chaos with their directness.
  14. 1-0 down and looking seriously rattled. I actually fancied this to be the time they would break their poor streak given how consistent they've been on the road to teams out-with the top 3.
  15. Desperate stuff from the Daily Rangers. Give it a rest FS [emoji1]
  16. I'm ok with that tbh. He clearly has his shortcomings (which is why we're able to sign him in our current predicament), but one of the main criticisms of the team this season is too many players not giving a f**k. At the very least we've got someone who'll put in a shift and it's only a 6 month deal.
  17. He's a 'Rangers man' though. That seems to be important to them.
  18. Those types of tipsters are, by and large, a con. They have an affiliation where, if a punter signs up for the bookie through the url shared on their FB/Twitter, they get a % of the profit on that person's account for as long as it's active. It's not in their interest for their followers to be profitable.
  19. Outside of the Premiership there was a full card of football in Scotland on Tuesday including a couple of big derbies in the Championship, the top 2 in League One both away to play-off hopefuls and some intruiging games involving the top sides in League Two. What an embarassment that our national broadcaster didn't bother to cover any of it. ETA: Just saw there's a big discussion about this on the Sportsound thread.
  20. Pretty much. They were the 6th highest scorers last season (not surprising considering Belotti got 26 himself), but 4th highest conceders. This season they've improved defensively (11th), but haven't been as free-scoring (9th), so maybe don't see Mihajlovic as the man to create enough of a differnetial there to push them up the table.
  21. Stating a fact doesn't mean I condone that behaviour m9.
  22. The two players were punished (and rightly so) for their actions on the pitch in line with SPFL rules about player conduct. No such rules currently exist to punish clubs for their fans actions. You're really not getting this, are you?
