  1. Missed the game tonight, but I'm not buying the 'worst performance under Houston' patter. Two seasons back we shipped 5 to Peterhead FS.
  2. I think William Hill have said they'll honour those that had Hippo too. If you've withdrawn the cash from an account and the bookie tries to reclaim it, they'll put your account into negative and any subsequent deposit will go towards that. If you never put any money back in it's highly unlikely they'll chase you for it.
  3. Having the final El Classico on the 3rd last matchday is pretty tasty.
  4. Those two are my favourite from the Football Weekly cast, so looks like I'll be jumping ship.
  5. If we're to put in a serious title challenge, we should be aiming to win games from the off. Utd have Keatings out for a few weeks and according to Well fans, McDonald is a notoriously slow starter. We should be going with a similar lineup and mindset as the Betfred games and steal a march on them.
  6. Football Weekly read a few excerpts of this about a year ago. Seems like Bruce has gained a bit of cult following over the books
  7. I'd have both teams closer to 6/4. Definitely some value in laying St Mirren.
  8. Don't understand how anyone could dislike Dunfermline more than the two teams that have bled our game dry and have the authorities pandering to their every want.
  9. Home to the 2nd weakest side left in the competition. Can't argue with that.
  10. Some free-kick from Alves.
  11. Knew I'd forgotten someone. Tiellemans looking very comfortable in the midfield so far. The Bakayoko loss won't be so bad if he can perform like that consistently. He's also loves a long-range screamer.
  12. French Super Cup on BT at the moment. Monaco 1-0 up and not looking phased, despite the two big names they've lost so far this summer.
  13. Excluding penalties, he scored a goal every 141 minutes last season. Would be a reasonable punt for £45K.
  14. There's a lot of very good stuff out there on the major leagues, especially the Premier Leaugue, from guys like StatsBombs, Analtytics FC and Squawka to name a few. But what I've seen on Scottish football so far is utterly dreadful.
  15. Who's the author on that? I gave up reading after a couple of minutes. He's got Stubbs rated very highly due to a massive increase in PPG (which would obviously happen when you take over a team that's just been relegated and is playing in a weaker league ). Also, Gary Holt 5th
  16. That's where Loy comes into his own IMO. Really like the way he drops into the gap between the opposition defence and midfield to create space for others. We drew too many home games last season, most of them against teams that sat in. Having someone who can play between the lines will be very useful.
  17. A win on Saturday and we're guaranteed to be a seeded team in the next round.
  18. That's was Austin's 50th career goal today. Hopefully he's still a Falkirk player when he nets his 100th.
  19. When did we get 'shagged' by Morton? We had 3 draws in the league, a 1-0 loss in a tight game and the 2-0 cup defeat where Houston tinkered with the team.
  20. Don't see a huge issue with him training with us. It's hardly costing us and by keeping him fit we either make him more attractive to those willing to pay the compensation or end the window with him still a Falkirk player and ready to play.
