  1. I give you QOS decline and raise you Accies. Three years ago we were playing Rangers off the park and now we would struggle to beat Berwick Rangers. The decline of both clubs and the halving of both supports is due to bad decisions made in the Boardroom at both QOS/Accies.
  2. Hearing there is a Meeting today which may prove pivotal to the long term future of the club. Basically Zengin is putting his cards on the table with an offer to buy out The Stadium Company. Hence why McGowan was floating around the place on Saturday, although he was heard to say he wishes Serif well going forward… make of that what you will.
  3. He brought duds on before him last week at Falkirk, eventually bringing him on in the 88th minute which sums Rankrotten Rankin up to a tee.
  4. That’s not what I was referring to. The laughable part is a full-time squad of 31 players with 1 home win in last 6; dropped points against 4 part-time clubs in that run and 12 points dropped at home against part-timers made even worse with the part-time sides looking fitter. PS, results and performances would take an immediate upturn due to players knowing their position, players needing dropped being dropped and a settled team. We watch this pish; we have a bigger squad now than in the Premier 3 years ago.
  5. Yep,O’Hara as I have said all season would be a good back up and not the main man. Three years ago he wouldn’t have got on our bench but we are where we are. Well done Alloa,it is getting laughable now.
  6. Aye he was there today apparently. I’ll take another laughable defeat if it finally gets rid of him.
  7. Guy you should be aiming this at is the balloon who opened his mouth and kept on talking and talking…and talking. Knowledgeable Accies punters were embarrassed by this pish with only a few daft youngsters reeled in.
  8. A certain rotund ex Chairman who ended up at Brockville shafted both clubs…allegedly A couple of examples of what went on included an ex Director purchasing Properties adjacent to the old Douglas Park for £71,000 & £89,000 respectively only to sell them to the Club(who needed the land) for £579,000 & £589,000 respectively. Robert Gibb who owned Flamingoland in North Yorkshire was traveling to Hamilton for a Board Meeting to finally oust the rogues and secure himself, Ally Duguid & David Campbell total control of the club. He died in a car crash en route and his grieving widow was conned into selling her shares to the despised Jim Watson who regained control and the disasters which then occurred. All these and other issues are ingrained on the Accies supporters psyche and younger fans have their own issues with corruption and a them v us attitude. Thus, when the likes of Rankin or the new Board have a go at fans, they just say “Foxtrot Oscar” which is why our crowds can swing from one extreme to the other. Years of being treated like crap by the club they support has caused this and this New Board are already repeating the errors of many predecessors.
  9. I have been watching Accies since 1977 and only once-under Alistair Duguid and David Campbell have we had Owners with the best interests of the fans/club at heart. This was the club remember who sold the ground for £6.5 million, got another £2 million from the the Retail Park and were left with £650,000 to build a ground after certain individuals got their hands on the money. Hence the 2 Stands and not 4 and the extra money from The Retail Park was to pay for a covered roof which would have been a first up here. Add in stopping a lottery winner joining the Board and a million other things and it has mostly been grim.
  10. A stat on WAH Facebook group shows how bad this run is with only 12 points out of the last 27. Keep this up and we may even drop to 4th. Top at the start of December after beating QOS 5-0 on the 2nd to 14 points behind is some turnaround in any League and fair play to Falkirk for ruthlessly taking advantage.
  11. I used to enjoy the banter and everything else associated with Accies v Clyde, but it is sad to see how far this rot has set in and the despair of the fans: we’ve been there and might end up there again. Rumours through here are Colin McGowan and Ronnie McDonald may want to clamber aboard? I always thought you guys should have ground-shared with Rutherglen Glencairn and rebuilt the club from it’s Rutherglen base,so would that not be a better option than Crownpoint? Finally,I am surprised to see Chrissy McGinn on the bench as anytime he has played for us, he has looked good. Rankin dropped him for one bad game in The Championship while his favourites are still playing every week. All the best going forward.
  12. Yes, I know you are here for the banter, but nearly 1,000 sold at current prices better than expected. Thing is though they are not all turning up due to the refusal to ditch this dud of a Manager and they won’t renew next season in this League if he is still here.
  13. I witnessed it all and it was started by a guy in the home end launching Vapes into the away end and that Gregg Wallace lookalike and his pal continuing the barrage that came from him for the 90 minutes. Gloating home fans and a riled up away support in close attendance is a recipe for what happened. Much ado about nothing.
  14. Won’t be enough folk in attendance to make it go toxic. That will come when you or Montrose beat us in The Play Offs when folk return for those games.
  15. Accies bogey team to get at least a draw in amongst the usual mad rash of John Rankin substitutions. Another few hundred Accies Season Book holders not turning up to highlight they are fed up with this Manager.
  16. If you are indeed a Well fan did League reconstruction not save you from a deserved relegation? Falkirk cheated out of a top tier place I remember also back in the day. Not to worry old bean,we were 7 years without a ground, went all the way down, back up and will do so again eventually.
  17. Point of my post is that there is no need to have a squad this size at this level no matter what team it is. The sale of 4 of our top youth players has funded this and all we needed was a core of experience and bringing youth through to learn from them…not 2 whole teams. It is reminiscent of what John Lambie used to do years ago completely neglecting the youth which is what we are all about. If Rankin was the Manager years ago, the likes of the 2 James,Brian Easton,Lewis Ferguson, Greg Docherty etc would never have got a chance.
  18. I posted this elsewhere but I feel it highlights the money wasted. Plenty posts/comments about the Manager and rightly so,but when you look at the size of the squad the money being squandered is off the scale for this League and it is not sustainable with decreasing crowds and neglecting our reputation for developing young players. Squad: G: Ryan Fulton,Dean Lyness,Jamie Smith D:Ryan Tumilty,Jackson Longridge,Stephen Hendrie,Fergus Owens,Lee Kilday,Dylan McGowan,Jamie Hamilton M: Marley Redfearn,Connor Murray,Lewis Smith, Mikey Hewitt,Kyle McDonald,Ben Williamson,Jake Davidson,Scott Martin,Jamie Barjonas, Paddy Meechan F: Andy Winter,McKenzie Kirk,Kevin O’Hara,Jake Hastie,Euan Henderson,Akheem Rose Out on loan:Chrissy McGinn,Cian Newbury,Joel Mumbongo,Joe McGlynn Youth:Ben Black,Lewis Morgan,Kravala?,Lewis Latona You could easily get 2 first teams out of this large squad who would be capable of beating most teams in this League with a decent Manager. It looks to me that The Club Supremo has been playing Champ Manager with John Rankin gladly accepting all the incoming signings with no clue how to shape a team out of them. A Poundshop Chelsea at this level with too many players.
  19. Rankin has to put them on the bench according to The Club Supremo.
  20. Five buses still going and many folk like myself wait till the day to see if PATG is an option. Sadly Zengin’s comments against the fans the other day have put folk off. I had booked a seat on one of the buses for a guy coming down from Aberdeen, but due to the aforementioned,he is not coming down and that is one example of many. The real issue here again is folk are angry at a Board/Manager having a go at fans and are saying Foxtrot Oscar as this has been going on for 15+ years and despite a new Football Club Owner, they have reverted to type. The same thing happened just before The Airdrie games last season under the old Board. I don’t think there is a Football Club in Scotland which has consistently had Club Officials disparaging supporters so often and all the add ones: no highlights of games, a joke of a Club Shop,Club Officials arguing or laughing at fans etc etc. I’ll be there expecting a performance after the last 2 disastrous months. Whether that is good enough time will tell but there is a feeling of “Meet The New Board, same as the old Board” in that they revert to type and blame supporters for their failings.
  21. The old Board said the exact same near enough word for word in the run up to last seasons Play Offs games versus Alloa at home(when it turned toxic) and Airdrie. Meet the new Board, same as the old Board mantra here. All this backing a failure has done is peeve off a support already angry and crowds will drop again with folk not returning until the Play Off games. Football fans of any club know when it is time for change and throughout the years our club has always taken far too long to change things which is where the anger is coming from. They waited too long for Billy Reid,Martin Canning and Brian Rice to go and this is the exact same scenario. I would take any of the aforementioned now and would be confident they would get more of a tune out of this squad.
  22. I know six buses that were booked from a few Pubs and all are now panicking due to folk all dropping out leaving the Bus Convenors out of pocket. Personally speaking, they should make an effort to go as the Pubs in question have went out their way to source buses with one Pub even laying on free breakfasts before folk go to the game.
  23. Title was won in December when we failed to beat Kelty the week after the 3-1 game. Got a bad foot injury but aiming to attend as it will be the last time we play here for a few years as I can see The Club Supremo retaining Rankin next season unfortunately.
