  3. An update from the club on the new pitch...... The company they've gone with invited the Club to go to see it but they decided that wasn’t necessary as the information etc. they had on it was sufficient...and they had quotes from quite a few different companies to consider, it was a very thorough selection process. The 'system' they've gone for is the exact same system installed by Barcelona on two pitches at their training complex. The new pitch will have 'green crumb' so should look better on TV as the current black pellets show up more. It includes an irrigation system and the company we have gone with are also providing a monitoring system which is utilised by top flight clubs inEngland and around Europe...and a sponsorship package too Green crumb you say? ....... noo that's staunch!!
  4. Kilmarnock midfielder Alan Power insists Steve Clarke has got him playing the best football of his career at Rugby Park. The 31-year-old Irishman joined the Ayrshire club in 2017 from Lincoln and on Thursday signed a three-year extension to his contract which commits him to Kilmarnock until the summer of 2022. The former Rushden & Diamonds and Hartlepool player praised Clarke for the impact he has had on him since he took over as boss a few months after Power arrived in Scotland. Ahead of the Ladbrokes Premiership clash with Hamilton at Rugby Park on Saturday, Power said: "I think he has got me playing the best football of my career just by his guidance and by the faith he has in me since he has come in. "He is hands-on, he will talk to you, guide you, quite simple things but that simplifies the game for you and I think that has helped a lot of lads here. "It has really helped me over the last year and a half and hopefully I can repay him with a few more good performances. "I am probably hitting heights I didn't think I could reach a couple of years ago, playing non-league football. "I got a good chance to come up to the Scottish Premiership and hopefully I am doing myself some justice. "I am the fittest I have ever been and hopefully there are a lot more years in me - I wish they had given me a seven-year contract the way I am feeling."

  6. Steven McLean is the ref for this one But don't despair..... he's gotta be better than Andrew Dallas who's in charge against the Accies on Saturday.
  7. Daily Star reporting we have also opened talks with Alan Power on a contract extension. SC getting business done early like last year as soon as a top 6 place was confirmed.......
  8. Agree 100% as does everyone on kickback lol.... https://www.killiefc.com/forum/index.php?/topic/7222-chris-burke/
  9. Chris Burke is close to signing a new 1 year extension according to the Daily Mail.....
  10. Stuart Findlay has been called up to the Scotland squad......
  11. William Hill Scottish Cup & Ladbrokes Premiership spring to mind.......
  12. There is also Kenny Alexander who might reconsider investing now, incidentally he cashed in a small percentage of his shares in GVC, the company who own Ladbrokes Corals, for £13.1m just last week. For those unfamiliar, he's the guy who originally offered £750k for MJ to walk away from the Club a few years back.
  13. SC mentioned at today's pre St Mirren presser that Scott Boyd has done enough to earn himself a new 1 year deal next season which he signed last week...... Also a wee update on his current injury is just a strain as opposed to a tear, so he will only be out a number of weeks & not for the season as first reported.
  14. Did anyone else read about the story on Kickback about Greg Stewart's wifes comment in the directors box at Pittodrie during our recent match there. Allegedly one of our fans shouted "come on Killie" which was met with looks of disdain by the Don's directors, the story goes at this point his missus piped up with "Yes, come on Killie, I don't even know why we are in this shitehole anyway, it's not as if we are here for anymore money" The source was a guy, a Killie fan, who was in the directors box at the time........
  15. Youssouff is in Teneriffe with the rest of the squad mate......
  16. It is mate, he's a good honest pro who has been solid for us since SC arrived.
  17. Bad news for Scott Boyd, out for the season after damaging his posterior cruciate ligament against Livi.
  18. Still.... you'll only have to put up with my dodgy posts till May, then its the Partick Thistle route for Dundee I'm afraid
