  1. I guess Durmus leaving has increased Connolly's stock slightly. I think we're aiming for as little churn in the squad as possible.
  2. Every time I check in on that place there's a different melter ruining it. Such a shame.
  3. Wasn't Cameron Howieson a Kiwi? Scored in that game against Rangers under Ian Murray. Not saying he's 'famous', btw.
  4. It was probably nominal, tbf. I've seen £4k floated about, not sure whether to believe that or not. Still fucking brilliant though. The absolute dud. Edit just saw @craigkillie's post. He's probably closer.
  5. Bring him in and make him player/crossing coach for all I care. If the net result is we actually start whipping dangerous balls in for our Brophy and Dennis, that's fine with me.
  6. I look forward to strongly tipping Dunfermline for promotion after they run rings round us, only to be mildly surprised as they finish fifth in next year's Championship.
  7. Genuinely tried, but the SMISA page that was hosting them has a 404 error. I didn't think they were that bad but I'm on PC right now so it's probably awful on phone.
  8. Malky Mackay's managerial career has gone on for longer than I realised.
  9. I've found the choices that we were given to vote on this year, but as someone mentioned above, we never found out the winner, AFAIA. In all honesty, I can't even remember what I voted for. If I was voting now I'd go either 2/4, and the boring '2' option for the away strip.
  10. Yeah, same. Fully behind this, personally. We've seen over the last few years what a lack of continuity can do, whether it's players, managers, transfer strategies or the BOD. This added stability is exactly what we need.
  11. I get that we're all bored of seeing the same old faces knocking about the game, but do United have to be such fucking hipsters about this?
  12. If they were able to attend the games, I'm sure they will have done.
  13. Isn't it a group format? I thought you were in it until December either way.
  14. Fair, I forgot to factor in the Euro games. Far bigger clubs have been hilariously bad in the league when they've found themselves in Europe. I'm sure that happened to Everton.
  15. I realise that's bait, but joking aside, I genuinely think they could be challenging Hibs for thirds next season.
  16. I'm always a fan of there being a pantomime villain knocking about the league as well, so there is that. As you say, though, I think we can all see how this is going to pan out. We make a public attempt to sign him, and Jim says he's confident in the press. Instead he opts for Tynecastle. Fans back in the ground, at home to Hearts on the opening day, Lafferty gets dogs abuse for 90 minutes before scoring a stoppage time winner and celebrates in front of W7. Classic St Mirren, that.
  17. That's fairly horrific. Genuinely feel bad for the County fans here.
  18. Nah, Peter Grant signified a shift in Alloa's recruitment policy. To stop us pinching their managera they now only recruit duds.
  19. I was more pointing out a striker who was better than Lafferty, admittedly on very limited evidence. And yes, I think Dundee will need better next season and Mullen will probably be moving to Dunfermline or ICT in January. @Mr. Alli - see above - I was being tongue in cheek, as you've guessed; though I do have loads of time for Mullen. If he's happy coming off your bench then he could still have a role to play for you next season. Edit to add: some folk, myself included, felt he would be better in one of the wide slots in a front 3. He covers the ground, chases everything, makes a nuisance of himself, and would probably still be good for 5-7 goals a season in that position.
