  1. What he clearly meant was 'logging out and logging in again as bonnieprincecharlie'.
  2. Serious response to that, though, because for some reason I'm determined to make you see this: you keep throwing out hypothetical situations with the express aim of proving that we're being hypocritical about this. You're banging on about last season, or if we'd finished bottom, or whatever. I'm admitting that yes, we would be complaining if we were in your situation. (Though as DJC has pointed out, if we did have the gall to suggest temp reconstruction, it would be treated with the contempt it deserves.) My point there is that you are being equally hypocritical because you would have no interest in any of this if you were above us in the league. However, unlike us, you're failing to admit to that hypocrisy because doing so would sink your 'fairness' argument utterly stone dead. That's not 'indefensible': that's playing you at your own batshit mental game of hypotheses and winning.
  3. No, because: 1) I'm acknowledging the hypothetical hypocrisy, which you are accusing others of while failing to do yourself. 2) we've earned the right to take this position by not being rock bottom of the league when play was stopped. There is still a strong element of meritocracy running through this issue. 3) if we were club X then we'd be getting bombed out of here so hard regardless of the moaning we would be doing. So no, I don't see a problem with it. Get the f**k down. Once again, and for the millionth time: you don't give a f**k about actual fairness, you care because it's happening to Hearts.
  4. We wouldn't, but it goes both ways and we've covered this a million fucking times: there's absolutely ZERO chance Hearts would be pushing for reconstruction if you weren't bottom, because you don't care about fairness you care about not going down. #serenity
  5. Weirdly, that's also my main reason for wanting them to go down.
  6. Clubs being offered 'reconstruction talks' if they vote to end the season? Sounds familiar. Surely nobody will fall for that a second time, will they?!
  7. Couple of my pics from the day in the spoiler box. My grandparents (centre and right) and my gran's sister took me to the game. I was eight and can't remember much: mainly the build-up, and being gutted when I was told we couldn't come back up if it went to a midweek the replay. Fortunately, that became moot. The take home message here is that I was not an attractive child. Though I'm not an attractive adult, so it adds up, I guess.
  8. Fair play, I didn't realise that. Goal of the season, in that case.
  9. It goes to show the importance of a half decent manager. It still amazes me that our 14-15 squad performed so poorly. Obviously most of Craig's signings were gash, but we still had an incredible spine there and should never have been in trouble.
  10. Rangers will at least be 100% behind the outcome of this, because...
  11. Hearts' interest in reconstruction will depend entirely on their league position in/around March/April next year. Assuming we're playing football by then.
  12. This isn't fucking fair. How can you possibly decide this with only 80% of the season played? I made my predictions based on 38 games. WHERE'S THE INTEGRITY?!
  13. They've been pressing on through the leagues, right enough.
  14. Who the f**k's this guy?! "Right, those reconstruction plans have been glassed, and nae c**t leaves here till we find out whit c**t did it."
  15. It's glorious. I wish I could manage the brazen, irony-free swagger of a club that is acting entirely out of self-preservation, accusing other clubs of acting entirely out of self-preservation.
  16. It's almost as if they haven't taken any of JTS's patronising, bewildering points on board at all.
  17. This is it. It's not the unfairness of covid that seems to be the issue here (for JTS), it's the 'unfairness' of relegation. I now look forward to having the concept of loss explained again.
  18. The respective level of financial harm inflicted on a club really shouldn't be coming into this, though. You should have been prepping for possible relegation in December. But, like I said before, the pervading arrogance of Hearts fans about suddenly becoming decent is the underlying thread here. Yes, you will lose more than Dundee, but only in a financial sense, not in a sporting sense. Which brings us back to Budge claiming you should be saved because you've spent loads. Which is obviously arse.
