The fee is low. I thought it'd at least be the right side of 500k. I'm also sceptical of the add-ons thing, coming as it does on the day that our dreams of a final big cut of any any McGinn fee were ultimately killed off.
BUT bringing players in and turning a profit from them is our strategy. Some will go for more than others, some fees might seem high, some will seem low. But folk have to remember that it's this strategy that pays for the bigger wages for better players that get us to the top six.
This is the first time I can ever remember that we've brought a player in and flipped him on within a year for a significant profit. My point is that we'll be seeing a lot of this over the coming seasons and we can't get hung up over individuals.
