Yeah, I think Ross has mined us for everyone he'll have had prior contact with. I did wonder about Jay Henderson - he twatted in a couple of screamers against United last season - but Ross likes a wide player who can really carry games (Martin Boyle, Lewis Morgan) and I don't think Henderson is there yet. Plus, United would have to show us the money, and I reckon Jim Goodwin would fancy him too.

I inferred from 'will listen to offers' that he's said he wants to go and, rather than spend all summer dicking about, Villa want to sell him and move on. Still, any fee over 30m will be amazing news for us and the sooner it happens the better. A 30m fee would be 4.5m for hibs of which we get 1.35m, + 900k solidarity. It's still money the likes of which we're not used to receiving.

I always enjoy the way Yer Da on Facebook will add a 'LOL' or cry laughing emoji on the end of their dogshit opinions as a catch-all defence so they can claim they were joking. In the example you've given, you fucking know the poster does believe that being fan-owned means fans should wield that sort of influence. Imagine knowing someone like that or having to converse with them regularly. Absolute nightmare.

Can only assume they've got another RB lined up and perhaps McGinn won't be first choice. He's always been the type of player who wants minutes; not happy not playing. Look at when he left us the first time. I did wonder if Ross might take the United job and bring him there. Though I rate Smith, and so does Ross.

I mooted P McGinn on here a few weeks back. We need a RB to balance out Tanser on the left and he should be top of our list.
