  1. States opinion about potential crowd sizes more than a year since any crowds have been in any championship ground then says; Braw [emoji23]
  2. Seems strange to be facing a team who’s fans are actually confident they’ll win. Have kind of got used to the “we’re shitter than you” etiquette this season.
  3. Anyone know if there’s live commentary on sportsound tonight? Doesn’t look like it according to the schedules I can find but the bbc sport website isn’t even showing the fixture for tonight [emoji849] P.S I’ll be in the car for the first half, hence wanting audio commentary. But to be fair, I paid £12 to watch us get hammered at East End last time so don’t fancy doing the same again [emoji12]
  4. I’m not sure it’d make that huge a difference because McGlynns main strength in my opinion is his recruitment and specifically building a squad to suit how he wants to play as well as well as being a team of guys that want to play with each other. If he inherited Crawfords squad I think he’s a better manager so would probably do better than Crawford but I doubt he would have had them challenging for the title this year. Now if the question was what would happen if you swapped budgets, that would be a different answer.
  5. That is phenomenal. Would be amazed if anyone was genuinely traumatised by the sight of a bear in a cardboard box but there you go. You dirty townie hoors. [emoji8]
  6. ‘Woke’ obviously hadn’t been invented back then but it’s the same sort of folk- love to be offended on behalf of someone else who, in most cases, isn’t offended. Anyway, back to the game. Both sets of fans showing absolute apathy and lack of confidence. We both know we’ll not be getting promoted so neither of us can really be arsed is the vibe I’m getting. Hopefully a couple of entertaining games but that’s hope more than expectation. Can’t see there being another 4 or 5-1, two cagey affairs and the winner being a lucky dip.
  7. You do realise that almost all Rovers fans thought that was quality banter? The people who were offended by it are the same people who get offended on behalf of Muslims because schools celebrate Christmas. I.e people who are too fucking ‘woke’ and want to be seen as some sort of paragon of virtue, when in actual fact the object of the perceived offence couldn’t give a shiny shite. I must apologise, last nights result seems to have put me in a terrible mood....
  8. Not really anywhere near the same thing is it? Once it gets to the final then aye, Premiership forum. Quarter final where it’s two championship teams? Championship forum.
  9. Taking the piss surely? You genuinely think we were better in the first half?
  10. That’s us fucked for the play offs now with Davo suspended leaving us with only one decent cb. And he never should have walked for that, never touched the boy.
  11. He’s been murder. Looks very out of his depth, his distribution is shocking.
  12. That’s true, I forgot we could afford to lose if Dundee draw. I stand by the rest of the post though, I think we’ll struggle to break Hearts down going by recent form and unless we can score we need QOS to do us a favour.
  13. Totally agree. Raith have to match Dundee’s result- not something I’m confident of at all. I don’t buy the ‘Hearts will field a weak side’ argument. For a few weeks they’ve been playing some of their fringe players but these are guys who are hungry to prove they deserve a start and their recent result show that- unbeaten and with zero goals conceded in their last four games. I think Raiths best hope to hold onto second is to get a 0-0 and hope QOS can hold Dundee.
  14. Which means Falkirk go behind Airdrie into 4th on goal difference!
  15. Maybe anticipating the fans wanting to show their gratitude to the team after the final game of the season.
  16. Tex, that’s not really how betting odds work. Odds are predominantly set on the likelihood of a result. Obviously that means if the most likely thing does indeed happen, the bookies have to pay out the least amount of money, because the odds are shorter. The enticement part is a punter thinking that the long odds are worth a chance. They don’t mind giving long odds because the event is less likely to happen and they won’t have to pay out. A bookmaker that offered long odds on the most likely thing to happen wouldn’t be in business very long- it’s not like punter can’t work out for themselves how likely something is to happen.
  17. Do you want to play “who’s got the worst play-off record?” ‘Cos we would win. It was mentioned on the Radio today (can’t remember if it was k107 or radio Scotland) that we have the worst record of any Scottish team in the play-offs.
  18. I think what was said by a few posters (myself included) was that we’re playing the best football we have since the 90s. That means the 90s team were better.... Don’t recall anyone saying this team are better than the one that had success back then, it’s more what Calderon said, people saying McGlynn has done as much for the club as Nicholl. I also think a bit of perspective is needed in terms of how bad this league is. We’ve been in league one for three years where the standard is pretty turgid- compared to that the standard in this league is excellent, with a few teams who genuinely try to play football. I think the fact that so many teams are so closely matched and take points off each other gives the false impression that the standard is poor. Of course if you’ve had premiership experience in the recent past and are frustrated that your current team aren’t up to that standard then it’s understandable to be a bit jaded with it all.
  19. Sammy the tanky was the best mascot banter I’ve ever witnessed. That wasn’t the ‘league decider’ game was it?
  20. One and a half bites in half an hour and you can score “cheating scum” and “debts” off the bingo card already. Not bad [emoji1376]
