  1. I think the majority of football fans in Scotland would rather have no Old Firm teams in the league structure than four of the bigoted horrible glory-Hunter-magnets. Get them tae f**k.
  2. Thing is, if he doesn’t stay fit for the rest of the season he won’t get a sniff of a deal elsewhere. In that case we could probably offer him some sort of play as you play deal which would be relatively risk-free for the club. I’d be amazed if he’s not with the Rovers next season.
  3. I’ve never even considered us not offering Vaughan a new deal assuming he’s still fit. Can’t imagine us standing by him for the last two years only to let him go when he’s out the other side of it. Also can’t imagine another side taking a risk on him at this stage. You never know though.
  4. Where did you hear that? John was clearly angry at the red card in the interview but it wasn’t clear if the anger was directed at the player or the official.
  5. Big John not looking/sounding too happy in the Ayr pre-match interview. Notable by their absence were any questions from Niall on Davos red card. Would love to know John’s opinion on it.
  6. Curious to know Tex, did you watch the 90mins or are you basing your performances against ICT on the highlights? Maybe the highlights didn’t show much of Tumilty’s threat. I’d say he was certainly where the majority of our attacking play came from from.
  7. I thought Tumilty had a really good game on Friday, probably my man of the match. Hendry also looked decent I thought, certainly one of our better performers. King wasn’t terrible but was largely anonymous. Strange how we can all see the same thing an interpret it so differently.
  8. Oh, Gullan is still on the pitch. Forgot about that.
  9. Yogi with “guid hoanest boays” within his first sentence.
  10. That’s true. Dad went to Ibrox twice on the Cardenden loyal supporters bus so they’re not a glory hunter.
  11. It doesn’t endear a player to me when they post about being an OF fan but it doesn’t bother me that much. I get far more irate at the amount of Kirkcaldy based glory hunters who’ve popped their heads out over the last few weeks after a decade of silence. All this WATP #55 shite from fannies with no connection to Glasgow at all can get so far in the fucking bin!
  12. Mental to think you went up as runners-up to Raith in ‘93 (28 years ago for the hard of thinking) and have never been down since. Us on the other hand.....
  13. I know who Methuselah is.... but I’m afraid I was (and remain) wooshed. Maybe RE in the 90s wasn’t as thorough as in the good old days [emoji12]
  14. Are you deliberately being obtuse? He meant neither team were playing particularly better than the other team for the majority of the first half. After Dunfermline got their first goal we never looked at the races and they pummelled us for the rest of the game. Surely you've heard the phrase "nothing between the teams"? It would be a pointless phrase if all it meant was nobody has scored yet.
  15. Don’t agree at all. We’d all have taken 7th or 8th before a ball was kicked. We’d have been pretty delighted with 5th or 6th at that stage too. But to be sitting where we are now we have to have ambitions of finishing in the play-off spots. It won’t be a disaster to finish 5th or 6th but it will certainly be a disappointment. If we end up 7th or lower that will be a massive disappointment now that we’ve seen what we’re capable of.
  16. I’m a mile or so from the ground and have had at least 6inches of snow in the last 24hrs. We don’t need to worry about the pitch being frozen so much as making sure all the snow is cleared. Not sure if the ground staff have machinery to help with this..... if not they’ll surely struggle. Then there’s the issue of the players getting to the ground. You’d imagine it’ll be fine by the weekend but even the main roads in kirkcaldy have been impassable today.
  17. That’s what I was thinking, can we just stick to playing on Saturdays please?
  18. Website is a bit shite, not that obvious how to start the stream etc but I registered and paid this afternoon and then logged back in around 7pm and I’ve had no issues. Credit where it’s due, picture and commentary fairly good from where I’m sitting.
  19. Me too.... just not when it’s literally freezing and there’s a force ten blowing sleet in my face.
  20. Nights like this I’m glad I’ll be watching from my sofa and not shivering in a concrete heat-sink in a howling gale.
  21. Are there any rovers fans desperate to see him fail? I haven’t seen any evidence of that. Good guy who did a good turn for us. I, and I assume fans of most teams at this level, like it when a former player plays for a big team or at international level so I hope his career keeps on with its upwards trajectory. Edited to add- unless of course it’s a shite-bag like Jordan Thompson who did absolutely feck all for us and has inexplicably still progressed his career.
