I think that for our part in emptying Dodds, ICT should give us all 12 points this season. It's only fair.

Have witnessed a lot of these games v Caley but have to go to a family wedding in Yorkshire tomorrow (getting married during the football season should be outlawed)so will miss this one. I confidently predict we'll win comfortably since I'm away.

I'm disappointed with this; he has made a big impact when he's come on (Thistle on opening day for example) and he offers us a directness we don't get from anyone else. Having watched him last season when injury was clearly inhibiting him I was looking forward to seeing what he could do now he was fit as it was night and day. Instead he'll tear up Div 1 and give Falkirk a huge leg-up. It's also been a novelty having a full bench and I wouldn't like to go back to having few options on the bench. I understand he's on a fair wedge and wants to play to earn a contract for next year but I don't think this is a good call by us.

The worst part of this issue is I found myself agreeing with Douglas Ross for a nanosecond and now I feel dirty.

What a game. We may have already seen the game of the season. We pretty much dominated the first half and when Queens went down to 10 men it should have been a case of 'how many? 'But we never do anything the straightforward way don't we? Felt a bit sorry for QP at the end as they probably deserved a point for their efforts, but this season we just don't give up.

I'd just like mine to turn up in the post. Worried it won't be here for tomorrow and I'll end up contacting the club on matchday about it....

Week 2 - Rangers

That was an entertaining afternoon. I didn't think we were 2 goals worse than Thistle at h-t and they had a bit of luck with the break of the ball for the goals, and when Calum Smith hit the crossbar I thought it's just not our day move onto Morton next week, so the two late goals were as unexpected as they were welcome. Brilliant cameo from Ross and a cracking finish from Mitchell. Like a number of other posters I think Lewis needs a spell on the bench. It's like we're trying to shoehorn him into the team somehow and nowhere's working for him. Referee was shocking. Reffed it like he had a tenner on Thistle to win.

That's my route (Kelvinbridge). Meeting son and his partner for lunch, then (hopefully) a couple of jars before heading to Firhill. Hope we're better than we were in March when we didn't turn up. It's a really tricky start for us so would settle for a draw.
