  1. Sky News has launched an internal probe into her conduct after she said she spent Saturday night at a 'Covid-compliant restaurant' in London but admitted to flouting Tier 2 restrictions by using a toilet in another venue while waiting for a taxi home at 11pm.
  2. What was it then, that's what I saw reported in earlier bulletins.
  3. Didn't she literally just use the toilet in a restaurant on her way home ??? Not sure the punishment fits the crime here
  4. Acht it was old hat, Former South African champs Amazulu beat them to it. Can picture them running on to I eat Cannibals !
  5. A sure way to a shit grade, most won't given it's H and AH, they generally care a bit more. Given Swinneys musings last week it was a dead cert, more a case of when not if.
  6. Watching the first vaccinations live on TV and can't believe they are "wasting " vaccine on 80 and 90 year olds when for 9 months the expert on here has drummed it into us that they were all going to die anyway. What a waste[emoji2957] [emoji849] One interesting stat this morning were the numbers of NHS workers who are still "shielding" and haven't worked since this all kicked off. BBC put it at tens of thousands who are being vaccinated early to get them back to work.
  7. Isnt it the Faslane outbreak or is it not classed as Argyll and Bute. Just assumed it had to be that.
  8. Don't know about friendlies but Faroes have only beaten Malta and Andorra in the last 2 years in competitive games.
  9. Folk assuming the likes of Faroes and Luxembourg have improved but it's mainly down to them beating fellow shit at their level in the Nations League. I presume that was the whole point if it though.
  10. UK media outlets "made this up" according to EU negotiators today. This really is an utter farce. It's almost as if the UK media are trying to undermine the prospect of any "deal". Who on earth could be behind that sort of subterfuge ???
  11. Paris air show in June cancelled. Organisers were not given any assurances measures will have been removed that would allow the show to take place as normal. Isle of Man TT races fell last week for much the same reasons. Seems very premature to me.
  12. It's Italy so it will be great. Good train links between them and they are close enough together that it doesn't really matter, you will get to see enough of either regardless of where you base yourself. Could even do both as overnight to save travel back after an evening ko
  13. Sky reporting there has been a "major breakthrough " on the rights if EU boats to fish in UK waters. Who'd have thunk it !
  14. Oh and as a wee extra, massive respect to all the folk swimming in the sea today. Amazed must have see upwards of a dozen hardy souls, even a couple of more mature ladies on Troon North Shore in just swimming costumes, unbelievable really given the puddles were still frozen solid.
  15. Stunning walk today from Prestwick to Irvine and back. Caught Troon harbour with the sun going down and a flat calm looking to Arran. Apologies for the crap phone pictures, dont really do it justice.
  16. It did seem odd but again illustrates the BBCs determination to undermine the SNP at any opportunity. They are barely hiding bias these days. That said it's as well Jeannie is retiring, she isn't the best communicator. You can imagine SNP HQ getting on to her pronto after the interview issuing her with the "clarification" statement.
  17. You were saying......BBC News - Covid in Scotland: Level 4 restrictions 'could remain after 11 December' https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-scotland-politics-55206120
  18. Google says... On 7th August, clubs in League One and League Two voted to introduce wage caps for the 2020/21 season. Player costs – including wages, bonuses (apart from cup and promotion-related bonuses), taxes and agents fees – will be capped at £1.5m per season in League Two and £2.5m in League One
  19. And we have Thistle fans slagging off Saints on a day Saints fans are disappointed at only drawing with Aberdeen while down in the seaside league the mighty Thistle were drawing at home with eh....Dumbarton !
  20. Since the moment J Ross entered the door until the current moment, when push has come to shove we have stepped up to the plate pretty much every time. Anyone who wants it bring it on is my feeling.
  21. Hearts looked utter shite most weeks, no comparison at all.
  22. You could rightly accuse us of plenty over the last few years but one thing we generally have in spades is "bottle".
