Gartcairn are the best form team in the league.
Will take a good team to beat them bankies huffed & puffed prior to getting an albeit lucky goal ( big deflection and a foul on the lead upto it ) to get back into it at 2-1 then a very soft penalty! I suppose when the fans shout for penalties and fouls every second the refs will give into them!gartcairn have not lost a game Mcshane has played in that’s how much deadwood he is !
I’m not sure if you know that Ian McShane the actor starred in a tv show called Deadwood. Ian McShane the football player was the star of the show today. Referees usually go against big shouts, they don’t like to be bullied . Soft penalty, definitely a free kick but happened outside the box After 20 minutes I was prepared for defeat, after 90 I was disappointed Clydebank didn’t go home with 3 points.

Great post that.
Almost no dead wood in that league going by results.
Almost JB, apart from Gartcairn as Ian McShane is synonymous with Deadwood.

Around 175 I think going by Pollok website. Not sure of the breakdown between starts and subs. May be some others on here who have a greater knowledge who will post
But averaging at bettering a goal in less than every 2 games is impressive at any level (or around 0.57 per game.)
A very good return.

We've got a 16 seater full and a few shy of filling the 48 seater, I'd imagine overall we will bring 150 +
I see the bar is open from 12pm, what's on the tap?
Bankies have always had a warm welcome at Abbey and Buffs parks. I would have fancied this game if we weren’t playing.

Ourselves, you lot and Talbot could be in the first division together next season
I enjoy going to all 3, but I would save a few bob in petrol money, especially after this year’s Scottish run! I don’t think any of you will be relegated.

Beith fail to deliver against Hermes
Perhaps Hermes used the wings effectively. (I know it went down to penalties)

Agree he's not being taken for a ride but not because he had a connection with Darvel, it's because he is an attention seeking galloot with more money than sense.
Galloot. Great auld word JB, but I’m not sure many at Darvel want Gall oot.

You certainly missed a few chances especially the ones we gave you. Just out of interest I found the atmosphere very flat, the visit of Clydebank would have had the terraces buzzing, it was like a pre-season game.
Bankies fans were down in decent numbers but really only got vociferous after we scored. Don’t know if Talbot were a bit lighter in number but probably didn’t have much to sing about. The shed beside the club was quiet but the good weather might have accounted for that. When it’s raining that shed is buzzing.

Question is, how many would Clydebank have scored if they hadn’t squandered their chances.
Poorest Talbot team I have ever seen.

I sincerely hope that Fort William do not include the cost of hiring the ground as part of the deductible expenses before splitting the gate money.

Could it not have been played on the Friday night or the Sunday at Fort William?
800 runners will be using the pitch on the Saturday, don’t fancy playing on that on the Sunday. Friday would mean players staff and supporters all needing to take time off work ( if their employer allows)

Fort William v Bankies is at Golspie. What a joke.

if the burgh have so much money why are they all over twitter looking for £100 to sponsor the assistant manager?
Money aside, it’s a good way to get fans involved and feel part of the club.

Lesmahagow won 7-6 Not sure if i can remember a game finishing with that scoreline before
‘The Juniors - 100 Years’ says that in the 60’s Beith centre forward Willie McManus scored 7 goals on his debut v Kilwinning Rangers, only for Beith to lose 8-9. Maybe a bit before your time maicoman.

He was decent though not outstanding against Bankies in what was a high paced end to end game. Certainly didn’t look out of place or struggling.
