Quick question how do people sleep at night ,Pollok play virtual full strength squad and are to be commended ( showing respect to the league and to all the teams scrapping away at the bottom ) yet Clydebank well I will just leave it at that.
10 of the starting 11 v Largs have played first team football this season, so one young player making his debut. It would be wrong not to blood youngsters when the opportunity arose.

Good to see so many clubs making improvements.

If Darvel win tomorrow will they be confirmed champions
Yes, but may not need to win, only need to match Talbot’s result to be champions

I took 6:30 off WoSFL calendar, just checked their website when I saw this, it says 6:45!

Floodlight pylons are up at Pollok, midweek game scheduled home to Clydebank on the 20th April - have to assume that'll be the first floodlit game.
It’s a 6:30 kickoff, probably no need for lights.

Been coming for weeks now and no blame on anyone but Clydebank thoroughly deserved their win and the only blessing was it wasn’t more , best display I’ve saw at darvel this season
and Ps the ref didn’t lose us the game today but he was woeful
Thanks for your comments DL, best I’ve seen the Bankies this season including the Scottish Cup games. Nice setup you have and we were made very welcome. As for the ref, don’t think he made any game changing blunders but what was he doing when he gave Darvel a drop ball and paced out ten yards for Bankies to retreat behind. He just made up a new rule!

there will be around a 1000 at the game , 300 from darvel as some locals will come just because its the talbot , talbot will have big support as per and there will be loads of neutrals , but thats all depending on darvel beating benburb and blantyre and right now thats no a given , no disrespect to any of these teams but id fancy darvel strongly against them if it was one game a week , full squad etc but thats no the case right now and its no excuses its facts and the reality is if darvel dont take the 6 points they are behind the black ball , no sure who talbot have to play in their run in but darvels is difficult with talbot , buffs , clydebank at home and cumnock , meadow and hurlford away with another few thrown in and thats a big ask to win all those games
Browning’s employees are being bussed in, 4 hours overtime, free bar and a Darvel scarf thrown in.

Yeah the SofS league being at tier 6 isn't much of a problem for the clubs in it.
My belief would be that the SofS would be best served playing at tier 8 or 9 parallel to the WofS Division 3.
As firstly the Champions of the SofS will doubtful ever to be able to be competitive against WofS & EofS Prem Champs in the playoff for a Lowland league place.
Hence being at tier 9 would best serve any SofS Champion getting promotion into the West of Scotland 1st or 2nd Division providing a step up and more competitive football and hence the more ambitious clubs to find their nature level. Likewise it would service Greta, Dalbeattie Star & ANNAN better if and when they were to get relegated from the Lowland League.
In the case of the former, Gretna this is a real possibility in the next few years, maybe even this year and probably will be the catalyst for any change to the current set up.
You would hope the Lowland League in a year or 2 could have a more pragmatic approach to relegation/promotion between themselves and the WofS & EofS, it is still early days we haven't seen a West of Scotland Junior club gaining promotion to the Lowland league yet!
Ah, I just noticed that Pollok are proceeding to getting floodlights at Newlands, thought it was impossible because of the residential location.
So the top of the West & East have their floodlights and SFA licenses in place or well on their way, any glaring omissions?
Annan are challenging for promotion to SPFL 1

I'm sure Annan are thinking it's a very winnable tie for them.
I am sure they are. We rode our luck to a certain extent v Elgin, not so much with Clyde. Annan are above Elgin and two tiers above Clydebank. We will take absolutely nothing for granted and Annan will be shown every respect. I would have taken OF away for the money, now us and Annan have a chance potentially of a big payday in round 5. Glad to be in it.

again, good stuff!
We rode our luck v Elgin, I thought we would be right up against it with Clyde being one tier higher than them, all of the second half I expected the Bully Wee to up their game, thankfully they didn’t. Bottom line is WOSFL could compete at a good level in the SPFL never mind the Lowland League.
