My enquiries indicate, the big guy sent off was letting of steam in the dressing room. A request to calm down wasn't well received, the scuffle that followed attracted the players still on the pitch who headed up to the club house via the terracing. They were joined by sundry others from the crowd.

The ref blew for full time as the players were running off the pitch. There was some talk of another couple being sent off in the original incident but I don't think anyone really knows.

Fitba aside SW, I have to say ‘sundry’ is a much underused word.

There isn't a lower level. Unless you want to try the Glasgow Wellington route and spend half a season on road trips down to D&G.

How is an individual club supposed to magic up another 7-9 Teams, sfa approval to exist, and formalise a promotion & relegation agreement with the WOSFL all by itself?

There wasn’t a lower level until EoS and then WoS became part of the pyramid. I get what you’re saying about individual clubs applying, but they will mostly be part of a league which could be part of the pyramid. The SPFL probably have as many employees as the WoSFL have volunteers with half the numbers of clubs.

Those leagues have a set number of clubs but have relegation (albeit inadequate) in place and leagues below them. The WoS fourth division is the bottom of the pyramid with no route in other than by being accepted at an AGM. Different argument entirely from the number of clubs in the SPFL.

What I’m saying is start a lower level of the pyramid if you want to join in. You can’t expect the WoSFL to do your work for you.

  4. Firstly, I am uncomfortable with voting teams in, sounds too much like the Lowland League in recent seasons, but secondly, the SPFL have a definitive number of clubs as do Highland/Lowland Leagues. Given that the WoSFL is administered by volunteers perhaps going past the 80 (5x16) makes it too difficult to govern. Any prospective clubs beneath the WoSFL (ammies/boys clubs) could set up their own league  with promotion/relegation to and from the 4th division WoSFL.. The WoSFL shouldn’t have to run everything below the Lowland League.

Glenafton v Auchinleck Talbot 5th of April- Admission prices.

Admission to the rearranged match on Wednesday 5th of April at Loch Park will be set at a reduced rate of £3 for Adults and £2 for Concessions.

Despite league rules stating we should charge full admission for the rearranged fixture, this is something we have chosen not to do as we feel it would be unfair to both sets of supporters.

Charging half price will allow the club to recover the additional costs of hosting the rearranged midweek fixture such as referee costs and floodlight costs.

We would also like to apologise to both sets of supporters for the abandonment of Saturday's game.

However a deluge of rain in such a quick space of time is something we have no control over. Our ground staff and volunteers were working at the park on Thursday, Friday and Saturday to ensure the game went ahead, and we are all disappointed the match had to be stopped.

Our existing admission prices remain one of the lowest in the league, and we remain one of the few clubs in the league that chose not to increase our admission prices at the start of the season.
