  1. McTominey's actually not bad in defense - or Israel are just really pish. Not sure. Tierney in for O'Donnell. Christie in for Jack. Griffiths in for McBurnie. Serbia are favourites but they wouldn't be playing us in the LEAGUE C finals if they weren't average themselves. Ye never know...
  2. I refuse to believe we don't have a better option at RB than O'Donnell. He looks like a lucky bag winner. Clarke has flawed judgements.
  3. One man's good guy is another man's w**k. They are wanks.
  4. Not sure i'd subscribe to this. Suppose it just depends on how each player plays and concentrates in a game in an empty stadium. Suppose the average wil be exposed.
  5. Think the squad will be: Marshall, Bain, Gordon. Palmer, O’Donnell, Hanley, Cooper, Gallagher, Findlay, Robertson, Tierney. McGinn, McGregor, McTominey, Jack. Forrest, Fraser, Christie, Armstrong. Griffiths, McBurnie, Naismith, Fletcher*. Team: Marshall Palmer or Tierney Hanley Cooper Robertson Jack or McTominey McGregor McGinn Christie or Armstrong Fraser or Forrest Fletcher if selected* Should do all he can to get Fletcher back for these games baring in mind they are do or die. He’s the only striker who can play that lone role effectively.
  6. There was 700 more tonight than there was at the Morton game. Biggest crowd ever at Firhill since the old standing days. I think.
  7. Palmer was impressive. McKenna & Gallagher are too immobile for me. Still need better there IMO. Jack is neat and tidy but lacks the Athleticism of a McTominey. If a straight choice between them then the latter for me. Play McGinn in an advanced role or don’t play him at all. Forrest flatters to deceive for me. Get Steven Fletcher for March.
  8. Can only surmise the likes of Morgan and Shinnie have been called up on the basis that at least they’ll actually show up. Not much else. Take the captaincy of Robertson. It a) stifles him. B) can’t have the captain anything less than 100% committed. Bad example.
  9. And thatll be Declan Gallagher offically called up now.
  10. Torn between Ryan Jack being the natural anchor at the pivot of the midfield where he’s been the best player for rangers this year or being played at RB to replace the out of his depth ODonnell. Probably the latter with the strength in depth we have in the midfield area.
  11. It must be said when they were agreeing the fixture dates whoever’s idea it was to play Belgium and Russia back to back twice is thick. It was always going to be a struggle but that effectively ended our hopes before they began.
  12. Marshall O’Donnell Cooper Mulgrew Robertson McTominay McGregor Christie Fraser Forrest Phillips Makes sense to have a focal point like Phillips up front for speed merchants Forrest & Fraser to play of and over lap. Done well enough in the role in Hungary for me to suggest he’s the best option. 2-2 draw.
  13. This is that embarrassing a tactic from Caldwell that it’s only right it’s made public lol.
  14. Watched it tonight and thought it was pish. Chat seems forced and their attempts at being funny is cringy. Basically 4 middle class uni types being exactly that. Probably why it’s so popular on places like this. Target Audience found.
  15. Rangers fan allocation cut. Some good local PR. Rangers fans buy the tickets from Kilmarnock. the end.
  16. Scott Bain is a bang average goalkeeper IMO. Lacks any sort of real presence to be considered anything other than a decent SPL goalkeeper. Playing for Celtic masks his flaws being that he “looks” comfortable on the ball(his distrubution is actually quite poor - don’t mistake confidence for actual quality) and has to deal with 1 shot a game. Scotland can get better.
  17. Why is it that Steve Clarke is seen as a much better candidate than Davie Moyes? Clarkes organisation/structure to teams is being discussed as a strength and perhaps what we need and yet Moyes is being seen as backwards despite him basically making his career on they fundamentals. Moyes obviously isn’t flavour of the month but apart from the poison chalace at Sunderland he’s actually done relatively well everywhere he’s been. Even his much maligned reign at Man Utd stands up to scrunity with precious recent managers post Ferguson. He has much more experience in front line management, articulates himself better , appears more enthusiastic and generally seems more positive than Steve Clarke. In summary: Moyes over Clarke for me. If that’s the choice.
  18. The guy that’s sitting in the studio. Unbeaten In his last year. Anybody But mcLeish. SOS Strachan.
  19. It is a bit of a mystery that he had the confidence to randomly go into a house he apparently never had been in before to take a 6 year old child without a single hitch - all this drunk. Hmm.
  20. Don’t think Lenny has the temperament to be a manager tbh. Always seems to spontaneously combust when the tide turns.
  21. Neil Lennon refusing to speak to the media because his side is on a bad run and he can’t rectify it is such a Neil Lennon thing to do.
  22. Easiest: Poland, Wales, Albania, Gibraltar , San Marino. Hardest: Spain, Germany, Romania, Kosovo, Latvia. Most fun : England, Wales, Cyprus, Gibraltar, Latvia.
  23. Maybe a bit harsh on the boy but anytime ive watched Bates he's looked pish. Doesn't look comfortable on a football field type of pish. Would be very suprised if he lasted a season in the first team at Bundesliga II level.
