  1. Good shout. Perhaps I was just being cynical. Can't wait to see these songs live though! I think the reason it'll reach the mainstream is the record label. Mercury are huge compared to Side One Dummy. There promoting it quite heavily. You can't pick up Kerrang without seeing "The Gaslight Anthem" somewhere.
  2. My only worry for this album, is that it might be over-produced. I can hear a lot of studio tricks. Will they truly be able to replicate this quality live ? I'm not honestly sure. Compare the studio version of "Biloxi Parish" and "45" to the live versions. Quite different. It's still the best album I've heard this year by far. I think this could be the album that propels them into the mainstream. Songs like "Howl" and "45" sound very radio-friendly. That's not a bad thing. These songs still contain Fallon's raw and honest lyrics and that Jersey punk spirit. Also, "Mae" is quite literally the most beautiful thing I have ever heard.
  3. The new video for the single "Handwritten". Absolutely fantastic!
  4. The Album has leaked! http://www.npr.org/2012/07/10/156551726/first-listen-the-gaslight-anthem-handwritten#playlist The greatest album I have ever heard. I can't handle how brilliant it is. Literally.
  5. Moulin Rouge ! - 9/10. Not usually my cup of tea, but it was strongly recommended to me. Fantastic story line! Ewan MacGregor is brilliant in this. It started off really cheesy. This stopped it from being a 10. However, it's really a fantastic film. Worth a watch.
  6. To be fair, Christina Aguilera is an outstanding singer. Can't beat a wee bit of Take That
  7. I'm drunk...and sad Haters gonna' hate

    South Park

South Park pisses over Family Guy in every single way. I cannot fathom how anyone could find Family Guy funny ?
  9. Me and two friends made this whilst drunk... Home made haggis pizza. Fucking delicious
  10. The Muppets: 10/10 Absolutely loved it. Cheesy family comedy but it's absolutely outstanding Had me in stitches at some points, but then again, i'm extremely immature
  11. Nope. We went for the "wee walk" and all she did was preach about her ex-boyfriend. I kept subtly hinting how amazing she was when she belted out the words every guy wants to hear. "You're so sweet" Didn't even get a pull...
  12. War Horse - A girl I used to go out with moves away on Thursday so she invited me to this as a way to say goodbye. I didn't expect much as I only turned up to see if I could get lucky. Five minutes into the film and it had me hooked. Agreed with the Spielberg shouts. Some of the shots were genius. It's the attention to detail. The man certainly does not lack to creativity. Every shot is planned to the smallest of details. Jeremy Irvine was superb, as was a small supporting roll by Tom Hiddleston. Not going to lie, shed a wee tear at the end. Not as much as the old dames behind me though who were bubbling like bairns 10/10
  13. Cannot believe I've only heard this today. Absolutely, mind blowingly beautiful.
  14. Sorry, that part is a lie. It was Mrs Kunzt. I just realised that there
  15. One of my best friends Callum made my German teacher's life hell. She was German so we all laughed at her accent anyway. Some of Callum's antics included shining a laser pen in her eye, farting on her and the best one : Leaving a used condom that we found on the pitch on her desk. She picked it up and started waving it about going doolally. There was still a bit of "discharge" in the johnny and after waving it about, it went in her eye. There was pandemonium in the classroom. Kids were suffocating as they were laughing to much. For months later, everyone took great delight in telling Mrs Kuntz To "Swallow next time". She left at the end of that year as did Callum, both leaving behind a legacy. I don't think anyone will ever top that at Kingussie High.
  16. Good to see "Bruce Bogtrotter" kept up with the fitness regime after "Matilda"
  17. It's like a dog liking it's own balls: You shouldn't look but you can't turn away...
  18. Has anyone ever been to "hooters" ? I know they've got one in Nottingham, but i don't ever see myself being down that neck of the woods. Or America for that matter... Praying they open one in Scotland Just not in Dundee
