  1. Sadly, the malign influence of Celtic pervades the upper echelons of the Scottish legal community. More evidence: https://twitter.com/hey_legal/status/1272914188600516609?s=20
  2. The cretinous P&B hordes are quaking in their sambas at the thought of the Brothers of Destruction teaming up to lay waste to the competition.
  3. At least we can all agree that this saga is definitely more entertaining than Euro 2020 would have been.
  4. Considering the last time we troubled UEFA competiton we Conor Sammoned our way to embarrassment against Birkirkara, I doubt that's much of a factor for HMFC tbh m8.
  5. This is not a "gotcha" in the way that many of you seem to think it is. The past few weeks have proven beyond all reasonable doubt that there is no sense of "community" among Scottish football clubs. Therefore Dr Budge was naively proceeding on a cruelly flawed premise.
  6. I refer you to my earlier answer: you are very welcome to hire me to provide you with my Opinion on the arguments to be deployed, but I doubt you can afford me.
  7. f**k you - I am considerably taller than Leslie Deans, for a start.
  8. It is definitely equitable. Glad to have cleared things up for you.
  9. No no, my friend; you may find that all leagues have to "sit out" until HMFC has its day in court.
  10. For the avoidance of doubt, I will absolutely be in the latter camp.
  11. I am also aware that s27A(1)(b) of the Court of Session Act 1988, as amended by the 2014 Act you refer to, allows the court to extend that time period if it is equitable to do so.
  12. A petition for judicial review; I already told you. Beyond that, you are very welcome to hire me to provide you with my Opinion on the arguments to be deployed, but I doubt you can afford me.
  13. Oh dear, look at all those blithering jackanapes giving you greenies based on a completely false understanding of Scots law. Unlike England and Wales, Judicial Review is available in Scotland to review the actions of private bodies.
  14. A petition for Judicial Review has always been my assumption. I trust this clarifies matters. If you had the slightest chance of understanding the legal argument to be employed, you wouldn't be asking such a poorly-worded question.
  15. If diddy clubs fold and die like the start of Saving Private Ryan, the league will have to be reconstructed.
  16. H.P. Lovecraft wrote of "the fear of the unknown". Never have those words had more salience than when watching a succession of P&B dunderheads scream "WHAT UR YE GOIN TAE COURT WITH" as if they would have the slightest comprehension of the intricacies of the legal minefield that HMFC are setting out as we speak. Now, this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.
  17. No, because that's a daft thing to say. I trust this clarifies the situation to your satisfaction.
  18. Just to be clear, under no circumstances should this situation be resolved by forcing Hearts to play more games in an attempt to stay in the top division on merit.
  19. Cba reading from where I found this on page 404, but you would seek an interim interdict, preventing the playing of any SPFL fixtures, when lodging your petition for judicial review. It's not inevitable it'd be granted, but to dismiss it as "nonsense" is wrong.
