  1. Absolutely bizarre refereeing performance today. My favourite bit was when Albion had possession, then the game was stopped for a Cove injury, then the referee handed the ball to Cove to resume Amazing stuff
  2. I've never known a fanbase to be so rattled by a 3-0 win
  3. The most exciting Albion match I've been to in a while. Felt like we saw lessons learned from the Falkirk game today. Did a much better job of steadying ourselves at 2-0 and then found ways to hurt Accies. Rode our luck at times - Blair was fantastic - but the last 10 minutes were tremendous excitement. Also think the idea of opening up the terrace has been a great success so far. The Young Team have an area to call their own and everyone else can watch them from afar haha. Fantastic stuff
  4. I sometimes forget about Josh Cooper, but that's a few times now he's made a real difference off the bench in games.
  5. Anyone here going in the terrace or we thinking the young team will be exiled over there?
  6. Ah well - welcome! Great that you support your local team!
  7. We were hopeless, no denying it. But I'm not being funny - that seemed like a very high standard of performance by Falkirk in the first half! That had to be an exceptional case?!
  8. That first half was a complete beat down. Haven't seen us that uncompetitive in a long time. Change to a back three helped stabilise things a bit for the second half, but Falkirk had eased up by then anyway. Hope we learn from that. Suspect we'll see the back three from the start in a few games this season and that's probably a good thing.
  9. Clark had a rough first half. Was worried about him on a booking for the second half, but Morris didn't get past him once after half time. Cummins got drawn to the ball centrally a couple times in the second half, but Duk didn't have a sniff against him in a one-on-one (which was surprising, but hey - AC did well). Aberdeen had a strong spell of about 10 mins after the first goal where it seemed like they might blow us away, but to suggest they were somehow clearly the better team is just nonsense
  10. Dunno what match you were watching Grimsdale, but it wasn't ours
  11. What a performance. It's a great feeling to know we can be competitive against pretty much anyone at the moment. Also great to see Forthbank like that under the lights.
  12. Saturday already feels like a huge game. Win and it could set the tone for another enjoyable season. Lose and I worry that the feel-good factor of last season and the League Cup run will start to fade.
  13. I was expecting a really difficult season. I still expect we'll be 'down there,' and we'll get cuffed at least a couple times, but I reckon we'll be really competitive
  14. Sensational day. Anyone else starting to re-assess their expectations for this season? I realise that is probably foolish, but still - it's been such an encouraging start!
  15. We kind of fell out the game a bit in the second half today, but very encouraged by our performances so far. Would still like an out-and-out winger to be signed, though
  16. That was very encouraging. Didn't look out of our depth against a team surely targeting playoffs again this season. If anything, I think we edged it. Referee was a shambles. Have no idea what the Alloa freekick was for and really not sure about our penalty. But on the whole, we have a solid team that clearly has good foundations from last season, while Hilson and Milne have added quality. Really positive.
  17. Will we be able to pay at the gate at the Recs tomorrow night?
  18. Unfortunately couldn't make it today. How did we play? Bit gutted when news of the late equaliser came through
  19. It's nice (and I will be purchasing). I was hoping for something a bit crazier, though
  20. Yeah, got the Trust renewal email. And also got my season ticket one last night. All good! Alloa and Falkirk away in our first three fixtures!
