Didn't like the vitriol that had started to build towards Thommo in recent weeks. Clearly a league too much for him, but he played a big role for us in a title-winning season. I'll remember him fondly.

Encouraged by how quickly the club has acted to get players in. We could all see new additions were required. Hopefully the new boys make a difference. By the way - this Twitter account called the Sam Bird signing last week. Have noticed it's also nailed a couple other Scottish transfers. I'm usually sceptical of Twitter ITKs, but this one has something about it.

I think Cammy Clark is ok, but very much seems I'm alone in that opinion. Thomson is the one I watch and think he offers little. That's where I hope we get someone new in next month.

Annan always give us trouble with the physicality of Goss and then the pace of the wingers running off him. At 1-0 it felt like Annan were about to blow us away. Thankfully the second half was much better, but it still feels like we need three or four good chances to score a goal and that's concerning.

The bar is so low for us at the moment I thought much of the match was an improvement. Thought we edged the first half and even started the second half strongly. Felt very sorry for ourselves when it went 3-1 - although Cove did create a number of good chances after that. Positives - a goal for Carrick and generally competitive again Negatives - poor defending for goals AGAIN and not taking something even when we play relatively well

Completely predictable today. Several defensive calamities leading to goals, no control at all in midfield and no reliable way to even create chances to score a goal. The arse has fallen out our season.

It did not ease the pain

This could be an absolute pasting. All the momentum of the first few games of the season has gone. I'll stick a pound on 5-0 Accies to ease the pain of the inevitable demolition.

Pretty abysmal performance. Really worried about the lack of goals. Today felt like a turning point in our season. I now think this is a slog. We're getting sucked in.

Great to see Kai doing well. We loved having him last season. A star on and off the pitch.

Concerned by how few goals we're scoring. Three blanks in the last six games. The goal against Falkirk was a gift from them. Worrying.

Gutted to lose another late goal. Bit of a nothing match, but Albion had started the second half strongly... only for Cooper to then be sent off. Did well after the red card, but both teams looked toothless until the winner (great finish, btw).

Carrick was pretty sloppy against Falkirk. Right now, Spence is a better Carrick than Carrick.

I'll admit I missed that there was an option to buy at the ground (albeit not at the turnstile). However, this was the quote: "Queen of the South would prefer fans to buy e-tickets in advance for this match." So it's certainly fair to say QOS push a cash-less system and then only allowed cash inside the ground. I wasn't the only fan who found this confusing (and ultimately was unable to buy anything). Also confusing - having a segregation of fans only to direct away fans to the home end for food.

Impressed with what I've seen of Wilson so far. Two good games.

I very much enjoyed QOS making clear that tickets couldn't be bought using cash only for the food kiosks inside the ground to be cash only. What a laugh.
