Feeling unusually confident about this one today. I hope Murray sticks with the formation that has served us so well over the past couple of months. I fear he’ll try and change it to shoe horn Andy Ryan and Callum Gallagher into the team. I’d like to see us lineup: Hutton McDonald - Fordyce - Crighton - McCann Kerr - Roberts - Millar Thomson - Gallagher - Carrick Bring on Ryan after an hour to give him some game time. Airdrie 2 - 0 Stranraer. Gallagher with one and Ryan with one.

Absolutely gutted we couldn’t hold on for the three points yesterday. It was backs against the walls for the last 20 minutes so can’t really complain, but so frustrating losing the goal so late. A good support through from us as well. I’d like to see Smith dropped for the next game as he’s been off the boil for a number of weeks now, he missed a really good chance in the first half as well. Still in the mix, upwards and onwards!

Very surprised to hear it’s only until the end of the season. I can only assume that was McCann’s decision and not the club.

It was announced on Hogmanay I think however worryingly it appears to be gone now, unless I’m missing something.

I’m in the same boat - I refuse to believe it until I see it on the club website. It would be an outstanding piece of business and one that surely gives us a good chance at the title if he were to stay fit.

I’m really looking forward to seeing the highlights. I have no idea how Toshney hasn’t been sent off in the first half - there must be something we’re missing. I’ve watched the Falkirk TV interviews and it’s very amusing to listen to the Falkirk players try imply they’re some sort of silky football team. Their back four hoofed the ball at every opportunity today. They completely and utterly deserve to be where they are.

The fact that Raith Rovers have chosen not to appeal either red card and we have successfully appealed Fordyce’s red card says it all. Never a red card in a million years.

I for one am shocked that Darren Young, who’s side could have been beaten by 6 or 7 on Saturday, is trying to deflect from his sides abject performance by blaming the officials. He’s just an angry wee ned, who’s probably still raging that he’s been overlooked for several of the full time gigs he’s been whoring himself out for recently. At least he didn’t assault any of our players this time :lol:

This feels like a really big turning point for Airdrie. Wonderful attitude and fight shown for 93 minutes, against a team that should be miles ahead of us. EIO EIO AIRDRIE!!!!

Really looking forward to this game this afternoon, for the first time in a while. It’s been a long time since we’ve had a game that feels like it means something, with a chance to go top of the league. Our away form has been superb this season so I’m feeling optimistic. Hopefully we don’t get let down! Cmon the Diamonds[emoji815]️ ETA: I hope we stick with the same team and tactics to the last couple of weeks and don’t try and adapt our tactics to make them more defensive - we’re no good at that.

Looking forward to watching this when I get home. Fully expect it to create an uproar. Excellent stuff.

Depressingly I’m not bothered about going to today’s game. I’d normally be there without question, however I’m feeling pretty ‘meh’ about Airdrie just now. We’ve got a tough couple of games coming up so hopefully we can pick up some points against an out of form Forfar.
