During a quiet afternoon at work, I’ve had a trawl through all the signing announcements posted on the website over the last year or so and the players that have been confirmed as signed on for next season are: 1. Scott Robertson 2. Joao Victoria 3. Dale Carrick 4. Ryan Conroy 5. Kieran MacDonald 6. Scott Stewart 7. Dean Cairns 8. Josh Edwards 9. Cammy Russell In the article posted above, Stuart Millar states that there are 12 players signed up for next season. This means that three of following players must also be signed up (the rest were expressly announced on one year deals): Jonathan Page Sean Crighton Chris O’Neil Darryl Duffy I suspect Page, Crighton & Duffy will be the three signed. Assuming the above is all correct, I would hope as a minimum we’d be able to get rid of Conroy, Page & Duffy. I wouldn’t be fussed if any of Robertson, Carrick, MacDonald, Stewart, Cairns or Russell left.

Grant Adam was excellent is his time with us - and the fans loved him - however he doesn’t seem to have set the heather alight anywhere else. I will always remember him swinging from the crossbar and doing forward rolls after beating Ayr in the play offs a few years back.

I, like most reasonable football supporters, am willing to give any new signing the benefit of the doubt no matter what negative feedback from their previous clubs’ supporters’. We’ve signed David Hutton who everyone claims to be an appalling goalkeeper but I’ll wait to see with my own two eyes before making judgement. However, Adam Brown is the only footballer I can remember playing for Airdrie that physically made my blood boil with frustration any time he was on the park. I have no doubt you will agree after a couple of appearances. I’m sure he has simply been brought in as a squad player however so I doubt it will have much affect on your season either way. Yep. Conroy just signed another 2 year deal with us unfortunately.

I think he maybe got two starts in the last 2/3 games of the season, but before that was nowhere to be seen. None of us could work out why he was even re-signed last season. A complete and utter shitebag of a player. I’m astounded a team out with the fourth tier has picked him up. You’ll just need to hope that Goodwin can get the best out him and he proves all his doubters (/haters) wrong. ETA: On another note, I’m very jealous of you guys signing Spence. I think every part time club in the country would have been after him.

Assuming McIntosh is the same player who’d played for Peterhead a couple of seasons back I’m surprised he’s been released. Always looked a quality player for this level.

Looking back, it was a case of not knowing what you had until it was gone. Folk were desperate to get rid of Lithgow a couple of seasons ago, and now he’s on the verge of Premiership football. The keeper(s) we’ve had since haven’t been a patch on Parry. Parry’s kick wasn’t great from memory but you’re not going to get a complete goalie at this level.

You think he was carrying a bit of extra weight at the end of season? You should have seen the size of him when he first played for us in August! One of the biggest arses I’ve seen on a footballer.

That being the case, you would think at least a handful of them would return to PT football. I wouldn’t mind seeing Spence sign for us.
