Quick scan online there to see if there's any chatter about Mackay and the QP job and it's clear to see that MM is still a daily footballing punchline to do with racism and misogyny. Not saying that's right or fair, and there's a lot to be said for redemption and giving an opportunity to 'one of our own' to rebuild, but it will be hugely distracting to everything we're trying to achieve here. We will be forever linked with those attitudes.

Tough one - a big part of me does think he's due an opportunity if he's shown remorse etc. I'm not massively sure he has actually done that though... It's a no from me. It would be a huge distraction from what we're wanting to achieve and and off the park.

I know. Utter mince innit. I see it's been announced that from Monday you can have 100 people at an indoor 'event', 250 outdoor standing, 500 outdoor seated. Maybe an opportunity for an innovative community club to get some fans into Lesser to hear a bit about some of these grand plans for a new football club model... Or they could just post out the subs reminders and hope for the best.

I'm expecting a reasonable calibre of applicants. After that it'll need to be someone who can help us create the structures and culture the club hopes will create something new in the Scottish professional game and implement our new and innovative model in the Scottish game, rooted in our community and participation for all. It would also be good if the new manager's single tactical strategy wasn't: be fitter than the other team and hope to score in the 2nd half when the other lot get tired.

Bold stuff from the club and fully behind it. Won the league at a canter but it would have been an absolute scandal if he hadn’t with that squad. Had lingering doubts about him - I was expecting him to get mutually consented out the door by December - but it’s always weird to complain too much when you’re coasting at the top of the division. Managing QP is a helluva proposition these days. I’m expecting some pretty high calibre contenders. Onward and upwards.

Beyond the stadium stuff- there's some really interesting chat in that article on the playing side. So much of it sounds sensible and there's a lot to commend it on the long-term planning, it's just the engagement is rotten. Got to question the value of Membership at the moment. Funny old game, funny old season. Feeling more pleased for the players at this stage than anything else. Was magic to see them bouncing about at the final whistle - and I hope they had a right good night. Delighted for the Club but real shame we weren't there to share it with them this season - and it's obviously the same for everyone on these forums - watching on a laptop is pish. Looking forward to taking abuse in person for supporting Southside All Conquering Moneybags 11. Bring on League 1.

Struggling to see this.

Bit of a slog but a win's a win... making so many changes is double-edged. It helps keep players fresh but it's always going to disrupt things - especially if changes are to the spine of the team (I'm counting Grant and Gillespie here). Shame to see Jai in distress like that (*** it would be good to hear from the Club on how he's doing***) hopefully it's nothing too complicated and we see him back rampaging soon.

Just seen it announced there will be no fans allowed in for the Scot Cup Final. What work is actually getting done to Hampden for the Euros? Could there be the opportunity to let us in for our final home game as some sort of test event?

First half was pretty disappointing but looked sharp after half time and we were flying until the 3 subs came on - and that probably disrupted things. Some of the Longridge and Quitongo link up play was a highlight for me. More of this please.

Good stuff. Some of our combination play going forward in the first half was top class - probably the best I’ve seen us this season link up middle to front. Wasn’t much in it beyond that - early in the 2nd half it could have gone either way. Job done

We’re a funny team at the moment. Don’t know if it the covid thing or the change in the club or the off field pish, but I’m struggling a bit to connect with the team at the moment. Not even sure I could tell you what ‘kind’ of team we are. Comfortable win today without looking particularly in control or making too many chances. Am I being too harsh?

Silence from the Club is deafening on the eve of what appears to be the final ever game at Hampden. Despite the fact I’ve just I tagged them in a sarcy quote-tweet, I’ve got every sympathy for the volunteers who run the Twit-space and that. These guys obviously aren’t blocking any massive scoops. The communication from higher up is absolutely dreadful.

Unless I’ve missed it, can we add the colt teams nonsense to the list of things we’re not hearing about..?

Another timing thing here. Would be no doubt except we'd heard mildly conflicting info in the Q&A 30 minutes before. Makes no fckin difference to me where it is. I'll be watching my my kitchen table while being pestered for paw patrol and babybel. Would quite like to know if we'll ever get a chance to see QP at Hampden ever again, mind.
