Lovely day without anything jeopardising the game requiring a pitch inspection. -

Todorov will score, it's a certainty. I feel like he isn't effective unless he comes off the bench, though. Can't remember too many games last season where he started and made any sort of impression. -

Good we have someone in. He seems well thought of and decent reports from Dees, albeit from limited game time. Another one would be great. Hopefully we can get a few in before the end of the month at least. -

It's like something from the 1990s when you go in to it When you click your username, it has got options to put MSN and Jabber emails in with the wee pixilated logos for those emails next it. Proper sitting in a dungeon basement stuff from the moderator. The c*nt also tried to cover up what was going on in 2012/13. Can't believe folk still use it. Then again, it is usually old duffers or shit for brains that frequent it. -

I would definitely have Ashcroft back as well as this boy. We definitely need another centre back. Sounds as if he is a decent enough player. Probably get injured on Saturday no doubt. -

Good to hear McCann and Otoo are back but is it really worth risking them just to end up at square one? -

Riley Harbottle at Hibs. 23, centre back, and has been made available for loan. Played most of last season in League 2 and chipped in with 6 goals from defence. Should be a decent shout for our level. -

It's not just defence as well though; we are having to play Chalmers with Allan in midfield. I like Chalmers, but he is a player that only works well with players like Otto, Hamilton, and Matty around him: guys that will take the game by the scruff. When you put him beside Paul Allan, they cancel each other out, and the midfield is pretty much non existent, especially on the back foot. You are then relying on Ben Summers to work magic when we have possession to progress because the other two don't do anything. -

Are we genuinely going in to an important home fixture with zero out and out centre backs? I am guessing we will be playing Fenton LWB, Edwards LCB, Hamilton CH, O'Halloran RWB? Who plays at RCB assuming Otoo is still out? Absolute shitshow at the moment. -

If we can get players that are economically viable and decent enough at this level, we should be going for them. We only need solid enough players. There should be plenty of options. This "wow factor" pish is needing binned. I think the club will be working to get these players in, but everyone around us is in a similar boat (sinking ship in our case). -

Fucking depressing. You just wonder where the points are going to come from. Surely signing mediocre-ish players as cover as an emergency is better than heading in to crunch matches without players to cover positions!? -

Unless Sharp is obligated to be at us until end of January, we should be using the money on his loan for a defender. Defence has got to be an immediate priority. I am confident the board and manager will be looking and putting feelers out, but nothing will get sorted any time soon I fear. -

Genuinely hope this gets called off. Don't think it is to be too bad come Friday/Saturday, however. Assuming Comrie and the others are still crocked, we'll only really have Hamilton, who is a midfielder, that can play centre half. If Comrie and Otto can come back in it at least gives us some hope, but you are then relying on dummies like Wighton and MOH actually performing. -

If there are affordable, solid enough players at this level available, especially in defence, we should be doing everything we can to get them in. This has got to be declared as a bit of an emergency by the BOD, no? -

Well, results this weekend not particularly going our way. We are definitely on relegation form. We have about 10 players out injured who would be starters or close to starting. Confidence must be so low. I think last night could possibly be a sliding doors moment in our season. Very depressing after starting the season alright and looking to challenge for 4th. I know it is only halfway, but you are mad to think we'll get near the promotion play-offs. Combination of bad luck, poor defending, and poor management is absolutely screwing our season up massively. Just don't see how we turn this around as there is no chance we are making the signings to replace these important players that are out. I would gladly take 8th right now. -
QP vs Pars - Fri 5th Jan

Really is a dire time to be a Pars fan. Said it in an ICT thread, but can genuinely see us taking a complete nose dive given the injury crisis and low confidence of the ones that can play. This board simply have to act and go against what they have set up to do and give McPake emergency funds to get players in to salvage our season. -
