In that period the club almost died (we saved the club unlike certain institutions) Bar a couple decent seasons in the Championship, it has been mostly utter turd in that period. I am not counting seasons we romped the league in League 1; a club with our resources should be smashing that league without much effort. The club is run so poorly. We constantly shoot ourselves in the foot with the decision making, and absolutely do not deserve to be a Premiership team until we get the decision making sorted. The teams you allude to have done things the right way in terms of their decision making. I honestly think we are the worst run club in the country. With all our resources and fanbase, I just can't fathom how poor we are. Piss up in a brewery springs to mind. No-one has a God-given right to be in the Premiership, but all the tools are there for us to be getting there and staying there. It is so sh*t being a Pars fan at the moment.

McCann is a weird one. Total boss in League 1 and he was doing well at the start of the season, but he has dropped off. He has something about him though that another club, with the right set up, could nurture.

Paul Allen is nowhere near good enough for League 1 never mind Championship. Chalmers is good in a team that dominates games as he is quite good at manoeuvring the ball, but when you rely on him in this league where a bit of dig is needed, forget it. McCann I don't think has it at all at this level. Wighton can blow hot and cold, but he is another that I wouldn't be sad to see go. He'll be on a fair whack too. I'm not going to sit and slag young boys on loan players from England that aren't good enough, as they've been thrown in to a situation they are clearly not up to by the club, but they are just nowhere near what's required. With that, I think players like MOH, Comrie, Hamilton, Otoo, Edwards are good enough for this level, but are just not performing at all. There is a definite imbalance throughout the squad that needs addressed. No idea how the f*ck McPake does that, but he needs to somehow or we will go down, it's as simple as that.

Dom Thomas was made captain by Grant, then dropped of the captaincy, then played in centre mid, then dropped altogether. He ended being treated like total sh*t by the absolute morons this Board employed in the dugouts. Wrong decision after wrong decision at EEP. It is absolutely frightening. There was absolutely money there to get signings that would have been good enough to turn this around. Whether the board have told McPake to suck a fart out their arse or McPake has been stupid with money he was given, we'll never know. But the vibe around the place certainly feels like "don't sign players for considerable amounts of money, especially if they are over the age of 21" The Board have probably told McPake to go and do one, and he has had to ask guys like Moffat and MFW if they can recommend players they know to loan as things got desperate.

Although the noise is quite considerable now amongst Pars fans, he won't be sacked after that. He'll be given the Arbroath game. Should we fail to get 3 points from that, the Board will not be able to ignore the noise and the reality of the situation we are in I'm not buying the injury crisis is causing the past few results. There is enough quality in the squad there to at least be competitive and get results. The away game earlier in the year against Queens Park is the only game I've felt like we have had nothing about us to get a result due to the injuries, but that's it. Everything is wrong with the club. The way that the Board is set up seems suspicious. All this talk of Meggle's conversations with managers since he has been here gives off puppet master vibes.

Midfield of Chalmers and Allan is asking for trouble. But then again, can only urinate with the phallus we have. It really is a dire situation. I got info from DAFC employee that Bene might be back a lot faster than anticipated, and I am hopeful this is the player McPake was alluding to in his pre-match video. If we get him back, we can then push Otto and Hamilton in the midfield where they should be, and therefore Chalmers can be dropped. Chalmers 100% deserves to be dropped but we haven't got much options until players start getting fit! Annoying as f*ck.

This will be on. I think we will lose quite comfortably due to the confidence being low and our tendency to have lots of forced errors from the back. Paton is a striker I've always liked, and can see him having a field day. Just don't see where we go from that disaster last week or how McPake turns this around without players like Bene or Todd.

If they don't want to get rid of McPake, they'll need to find money from somewhere to get him players he needs. The midfield options we have are absolutely shite.
