  1. That's probably why he said it "may" happen.
  2. I knew Hartlepool played at Victoria Park, but the Staggie badge is news to me.
  3. The player's views don't absolve the employer from their responsibility under the Health and Safety At Work legislation.
  4. No, sanctions apply only after the four-week stage, i.e. 14th November. See https://wosfl.co.uk/update:-13th-october-2020/
  5. What has that got to do with anything? Paying £1,000 for advertising no-one will see is a dumb idea, even if it only costs £800 after tax.
  6. AFIK you don't need planning permission for a fence up to 2.0 metres.
  7. If the club and player have signed a contract, there is nothing the SFA can do to change it without both parties' consent.
  8. Rubbish. The clubs have two options at the moment - start without fans, or don't start at all. The fans are not affected either way.
  9. It's when you take off your normal clothing and get into your football kit.
  10. What is this other grade of football? AFAIK the only clubs which will be playing are the SPFL, HL and LL. I can't see there being much demand for an influx of redundant Tier 6 players.
  11. On the one hand, we are told that non-league clubs face imminent collapse unless fans are allowed back. On the other, we have many clubs going ahead with ground improvements, including floodlights. Confused?
  12. In Scottish football you are either covered by the professional or non professional game boards and that is what the SFA have used all the way through this to issue guidelines. Do you really expect them to change tack now? The English FA abolished the distiction between professional and amateur players years ago on the basis that it no longer served any purpose. Does it serve any purpose in Scotland half a century later? (Apart from filling a few more blazers).
  13. Here in England, the authorities have decided that "elite" clubs have to play behind closed doors, but "non-elite" clubs can let the fans in. This led to a bizarre situation locally at the weekend, where the non-elite Corinthian Casuals were at home to Dulwich Hamlet, who (bizarrely) are classed as elite. 600 crowd, but visiting supporters banned! https://www.brixtonbuzz.com/2020/09/corinthian-casuals-make-statement-over-the-baffling-fa-ban-on-dulwich-hamlet-supporters/
  14. That must be one of the worst kits of all time. Anywhere.
  15. Not if there's a qualifying SOS champion.
  16. Do you mean "neither", or is there something else you want to share with us?
  17. I'd be very surprised if that were the case.
  18. I know committees are allowed. My point was there was about 40 folk there. Some size of committee? They may be "allowed"(?), but they're still ubject to the rule of six and social distancing.
  19. You're right. My fag-packet says that needs a room of about 50 sq metres (say 6 x 8), and that's assuming everyone stays in his place, and enters and leaves in strict rotation. That seems a tad unlikely.
  20. Committees are exempt from the government guidelines? I must have missed that.
