  1. Ref is definitely card happy but that Matthews one you’d be screaming for if it was against your team.
  2. Bit disappointed when the club originally put out the information that any fixture played behind closed doors would go to season tickets sold in chronological order. Bought 2 tickets on the day they were released largely because of that. Disappointing that they’re only looking at the one stand, would’ve thought they could accommodate a fair chunk of our ST holders behind the 2 goals. edit: the statement makes it sound like they can only admit 500 which, as far as I understand/the sfa statement acknowledged, is only without further permission. The club can apply to get more fans in, subject to social distancing being approved. Bit shite if the club haven’t even tried to put a proposal in.
  3. I lived in Germany for 2 years and would catch myself doing this. You’d be surprised at how naturally it happens. A big part of it comes from altering the way you speak English when you’re abroad, a lot of the things we say/the way we say them is confusing to non native speakers. My work was all in English, but I 100% used different grammar. When I’d come back from a visit to Scotland, people would notice the change in my accent and the way I spoke.
  4. Ditto here. Constituency to James Dornan and list to the Greens for the first time in my life.
  5. Just cheered for a Gary Mackay Steven goal. Need to go for a shower now.
  6. The proper stream is manually operated, must be a dodgy pixellot feed.
  7. If you’d quite happily see your property devalued I’m pretty sure you are in a very small minority. British people love home ownership as a way to make money, so many people are obsessed about it being an investment. Living in Europe has opened my eyes to how weird we are in the U.K. about owning a home. Although the private rental market being as popular as say Germany relies on proper laws being introduced around tenant protection. It’s not uncommon to rent the same flat for 10 plus years over there.
  8. It’s a well studied phenomenon, called the Peter principle. I work in tech and the amount of engineering types that are promoted to management with non existent people skills is frightening. It happens often because it’s “the way” to progress to more money etc., although at least a lot of technology companies are realising that very good developers often don’t make even competent managers.
  9. The commentary is rather bizarre. This stream however is a million times better than the pitiful Ayr effort we had last week.
  10. Made a beef massaman curry at the weekend, served with a side of spicy garlic stir fried broccoli. Unreal.
  11. That was some mix up in the Morton defence. Bunch of diddies.
  12. Fleetwood is some player, joy to watch.
