Tbf, it’s the kind of ‘breath of fresh air’ appointment we all cry out for whenever there’s a vacancy. Especially when you punt an underachiever, that excitement of getting a new manager in is completely shagged out of you when you see the top favourites are folk like McIntyre, Rice, Kettlewell, Duffy and McCann, and you just want something a bit different because the usual suspects are so uninspiring. This is quite a bold appointment, though. Considering Falkirk’s current position in the league in what I’d imagine is a massive season for you financially. Rennie could turn out to be the appointment you’ve needed for a long time, but at the same time you could see yourselves thinking “we’ll, what the f**k did we expect was going to happen?!” We’re in a similar position with Yogi but for different reasons. Could be great. Could be a complete shambles. It would also be massively fucking hilarious to see you spend 4 (four) years by the seaside.

It's a really bizarre notion that unionists have that Sturgeon is some kind of liar, cheat or morally absent dictator. Agree with all of this. One of our many problems this season is we’ve had nobody in midfield with any kind of ability to dictate a game. Our midfielders have been bystanders and second best to everything just about every game. Todd, Allan, Dorrans and Pybus aren’t all necessarily inherently terrible players, they just can’t (or won’t) control a game and pull the strings. We need to empty Kennedy and as Rob says, that should get us 2 players, and you’d hope there’s room for one more after that. I’d like to see a competent, controlling central midfielder, a natural winger and a ‘keeper whose wrists can withstand the strength of a small wean’s fart. Also, I’m sure Connolly confirmed his loan expires mid-January, so we either keep him or it feeds up a wage for a decent centre-half.

I’d suggest replaying the game but I don’t think anyone actually deserves to go through that again.
