  1. Another cracker. You can actually smell these incel forums. And they fucking reek.
  2. I’ve no idea tbh, I haven’t been to a ‘traditional’ Christian wedding.
  3. It’s not just “not keeping a clean sheet” either - it’s that we’ve conceded 10 in 3 games, or 5 in our two opening league games if you want to ignore last Friday. That makes it even worse that he’s sticking with a failed system.
  4. It was apparent straight away that Grant was as arrogant as they come, but I’d hoped that would work in our favour. A wee wind-up merchant is always good fun, but only if you’re skelping teams every other week. When you’re putting in completely apathetic performances, that smugness and arrogance immediately translates to delusion and embarrassment.
  5. If he changes the formation and somehow gets us playing to the high standard most of our individual players are capable of, then he’ll slowly start to win the fins over. Unfortunately, both of those are very unlikely. I can’t tell you how concerning it is to hear him say that. We created absolutely f**k all for the entire 90 minutes and it’s deeply worrying to hear him more or less say we could have had 2 or 3 ourselves. I honestly think the best ‘chance’ we had was O’Hara getting a bit of space out wide behind the back 4 but Goldson brushed him off the ball effortlessly and Rangers kept possession. Even that I think was about 40 yards from their goal.
  6. Think we’d have rushed home to get a train through if the return journey wasn’t so shite so we’re just taking the car. Suffering this pish sober won’t be fun.
  7. Christ. When was the last time there was such little interest from Pars fans for a game at Starks? Hope we shift a lot more by tomorrow afternoon otherwise I’ll struggle to get excited for it.
  8. I’d be surprised if that’s the case. I imagine him being a complete fantasist, but at least a passionate and assertive one at that. I can definitely see him baffled that players can dribble a ball round a cone so easily but find it really difficult against Connor Goldson. Or, indeed, any moving object. In fact, I almost guarantee that he’s pointed that out to some of our players already, and not seeing what the problem is. I was hoping that after the Rangers game when he switched to a 4-4-2 for the second half. But now it’s been pointed out, I think his ego will get in the way. When he eventually changes things, it’ll be because he’s a tactical masterclass, not because a local journalist asked him about his poor tactics.
  9. Someone said recently there are more open/fans’ meetings soon? Is anyone here who may be at one willing to voice the concerns of the support? Every season where you have a bad (or good) start, some will get a bit carried and feeling like the first 2-3 games defines the season but there are some real concerns regarding Grant’s signings and the way he wants us to play. Also, the claims that Grant played decent football at Alloa can get in the sea. In the 270 minutes against Morton, Thistle and Rangers, we’ve probably played about 4 minutes of ‘decent football.’
  10. It’ll be a disappointing crowd, though unsurprising given our starts. Fans have waited a long time to get back to the games, and having this fixture so early in the season and almost immediately after the restrictions were lifted, we’d have hoped for a sellout. Guarantee there’ll still be plenty tickets going for each end come Friday evening.
  11. It’s incredible that Grant is seemingly the only person in the world who thought the shape and choice of players was a good idea last night. I can’t tell if it’s more out of naivety or arrogance that he’d set us up the way he did. Gaspuitis must be fucking fuming watching us just now. I think he had to be patient when he came in last season, but he’s had a full pre season and still can’t get a start over an incredibly weak-looking Ross Graham (mind when our Twitter did a “it’s happening!” gif to announce his signing?). The tiniest glimmer of hope I can take from last night is the change to a 442(?) for the second half. Comrie back to right back, Thomas and Dow on the wings, and 2 strikers. We didn’t look *quite* as toothless - couldn’t have been any worse - in the second half, and I hope the players aren’t too demoralised. Grant’s post-match comments won’t help that though. For the Rovers game we need to stay with that 442. If Grant even thinks of going back to a 5-2-3, he’ll lose a lot more of the fans’ confidence than he already has. Mehmet Comrie Gaspuitis Watson Edwards Dow Dorrans Cole Thomas Todorov Wighton
  12. It was bad enough just to see and hear it without context, even worse when I realised they were actually targeting someone. It would be completely unacceptable to point at a disabled section and shout that kind of thing, so what makes them think it’s acceptable when they’re in the stand?
  13. After the first 20 minutes I was genuinely pleased we kept it to 5. We probably shouldn’t expect any better from these utter c***s, but the home fans making (disability?) gestures and continually shouting “m**go” to someone who genuinely has a disability is pretty fucking low.
  14. Any idea how many away tickets have been sold? Can’t see us taking any more than 200 tbh.
  15. Ross Graham still starting. Dorrans and Pybus in the middle. Ouch.
  16. You must be a closet ***. I’d love to see the Rovers get torn into these bigots.
  17. Can guarantee the folk leaving won’t be back unless they’re at Hampden again.
  18. Jesus, this Galatasaray mob are fucking pish.
  19. Aw f**k. I’d rather they just went 2-0 up and kept 95% of the possession but I worry they’ll be looking for maximum goals to ‘prove a point’ to their own fans. Which they will get.
  20. f**k me. I was expecting to be ecstatic about the fans being allowed back in. Particularly as it's been a quick jump from some to all fans back, I thought there was going to be an extremely exciting build-up to the first big one. Yet here we are, just over a week from a restrictionless visit to Stark's and it's just a bit.. underwhelming. It's incredible how much a shite start develops almost sheer apathy towards the football. A win/decent showing at Ibrox would work wonders, right enough.
