1. It was four - not that it would make any difference to your statement.
2. Was at Editors in the Roundhouse in London. Crowd were so boring. All trying to look nice instead of getting covered in beer and sweat. I walked straight down to the front without having to move anyone out of the way. Editors were good though.
3. Mr Peabody and Sherman. Think Brian Griffin's Excellent Adventure. Think I was the only person to laugh at the "I'm Spartacus" line. Great kids film and easy watch for adults. 8/10

Breaking Bad

Just got the Season one box set and watched episode 1 last night. Can just tell I'm going to love it - even the wife can't wait for episode 2 tonight once she's finished watching that dancing on ice pish.
5. Spear of Destiny on Saturday. 30 year anniversary , Christ I feel old.
6. Correct support is Holy Ghosts and the Rahs.
7. The Rifles on 11 Oct at HMV Picture House. Going on holiday the following morning so should stay relatively sober.
8. http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/editors/2013/hmv-picture-house-edinburgh-scotland-1bc6053c.html There you go.
9. Thank god that old couple are off. As well as being useless they had to be the most boring people alive.
10. Why did they let Luke keep his surname if they were trying to keep him hidden from his father? Guess the Galaxy phone book might be a hefty book I suppose but it reminds me of the Thompsons episode in the Simpsons.
11. Drive, lugging camping gear and booze on any public transport to a music festival is a pain in the arse and you end up taking half the things you would have taken. Did it once to Kendal Calling, never again - probably cost me twice as much as I had to buy more at the fest.
12. Just watched Project Nim on BBC iplayer. Really quite sad but extremely interesting - 70s fashion was great, unless its on chimps.
13. Who's doing a Festival this year? Any recommendations for further afield? Taking the kids to Wickerman but giving T and Rockness a miss this year. Did Kendal last year which was really good value.
14. Inspiral Carpets at Liquid Rooms tomorrow. Moooo!
15. http://www.list.co.uk/article/49455-amy-macdonald-the-enemy-kt-tunstall-and-dexys-join-primal-scream-on-wickerman-2013-bill/ Not a huge Amy McDonald fan so will probably be in the scooter tent. But may pop down later for a look.
16. Forgot about that one. It's hilarious, especially when his wee boy starts shouting that he needs a poo just as he's about to get the high score. Some very strange people in this - everyone should watch it.
17. Watched Dear Zachary. Wanted to stop watching but couldn't. Need to watch some cheery pish now or I won't sleep.
18. Sky had a documentary channel last year. Think it's gone now but a lot of the suggestions were on it. Must have watched about 20 on there. Probably replaced by some reality quiz show pish.
19. GasLand is a good watch. Especially when the guy can set fire to his own water supply. There was also one about mass food production in the US which was horrific. Can't remember the name just now. Edit: Food.inc
20. Life of Pi - simply beautiful. Has to be seen on big screen and in 3d. Starts off slow, ends up odd, but the majority is just amazing to watch.8/10
21. Girl who played with fire. Something about watching a foreign film that makes it seem more real. Better film than Dragon Tattoo I thought ( probably as it was easier to follow). Noomi Rapace was excellent but has shit tits (unlike her girlfriend). Looking forward to Hornets Nest which is being "taped" tonight. Never got round to reading the books but may give the first one a go if I get through the backlog on my kindle. Score 8.5/10
22. Christmas is always a bit of a strange time for me. I love it for all the usual family reasons (especially my daughter's excitement). But my best friend committed suicide on christmas day. We were both serving in belfast when he shot himself. Having seen what we had seen on previous tours you would automatically think it was those experiences that drove him over the edge but I reckon it was more to do with us both about to leave and his quite bizarre family. He was the bubbliest person I ever knew who wasnt phased by anything, which made it all the harder to take. Support now compared to then is like night and day.
23.

Not a fan of Falconhoof but that sketch was the funniest of the series for me. Even funnier on second viewing. Also liked the two twittering in bed "fancy a shag?" Nothing will ever beat Dee Dee's trip to Yoker however.
