Petrie is well aware of the Hibs fans feelings on this. After getting our house in order and suffering the consequences he indicated to me that Hibs position will reflect the fans opinions in the main. I for one expect him to make public his thoughts within days of a newco being created. Until then I expect he will continue to make statements about fair play without mentioning rangers by name.

Totally agree. Was apprehensive about Stephen Holt replacing Tom but thought that his voice suited what was a rougher Inspirals sound. Cant say the new stuff is on par with the old songs but the start of the gig with Commercial Rain and Joe was simply superb.

Rangers remind me of the time I woke up to find a wee bird on my lawn which had been attacked by a cat or a bigger bird. It was just lying there in a mess waiting to die until I whacked it with a spade.

Heres my guess on the final solution. Rangers are heading for liquidation (either now or when they lose the big tax case) in any case. The Spl board will then make moves to create SPL 1/2 and will allow new Rangers to start in SPL2. That way existing SPL clubs dont feel so cheated and the SPL 2 clubs see some improved gates for a season at least. The board will also introduce tighter financial rules which in turn allows them to push teams down if they fail to comply.
