  1. Moussa, Haber and El Bakh should be sacrificed infront of the Derry. Play Murray and AJLS together, as someone has already mentioned.

None of the others offer enough, despite having one or two plus points, their overall game is attrocious and deserves to be described as such. Four or fives minutes of good hold-up play is not good enough.

Next game is must win. Don’t fancy us in a playoff game, home OR away.

  2. A potentially inspired signing for both sides. For us, the reasons are obvious, but I think it could be really good for him too.

Simply put;  not everyone is immediately equipped to handle the pressures of playing high-profile football. That seems to be part of the story with his off-field struggles. He may simply want 6 months or so in Scotland to sort his head out, get games under his belt and reignite his career/love for football. I'd imagine coming to the relative obscurity of the SPFL would be quite appealing, tbh. Not everyone wants the same things, so this could be a really good move for him personally (away from the media intrusion that goes hand-in-hand with English football).

Regardless of whether we sign him or not, best of luck to him.

    Thank you.

Nelms and McCann will potentially have a lot to answer for.

    Our Baldy Snake and Ratnamara.

F*ck sake, calm down. You’re actually off your head, Ludo.

Today was awful, but I really dunno how you can draw that comparison. You really must have a short memory.

To remind you; we were in a pathetic state at the start of this season, largely thanks to Hartleys mismanagement. Nelms gave him a wedge of money that was pissed against a wall. McCann has (at least) cleared out the majority of the dead-wood, replaced it with better players and started playing better football. Plus got us a record fee from a play that’s been here for half a season (who cost us nothing).

The league is harder, money is tighter and he deserves our support IMO.

In short; get a fucking grip.

I’m expecting something like Gomis. A big, clumsy oaf who will ultimately be an abject failure however he will get a fair chance from me.

Burst out laughing when reading that. Absolutely savage, but fair.

Josh Meekings has started selling Herbalife. :(

I legit thought you were joking. Just gone on his twitter to find out it's true. Wonder how long it will take him to start flogging Avon. That's the behaviour of a total clown, IMO.

    Thank you.

Didn't happen - is an Arbroath laddie 8)

The more we say it happened, the more it actually did happen. That's how the internet works, David.

I actually didn't know Waddell was a teuchter, though. He can get himself to f**k if that's the case. Heart broken.

    Thank you.

  6. Alright, I've finally calmed down after deadline day. I think there's one positive that's been overlooked:

    Stand up Kerr Waddell.

Punched Bain in the puss, is a Dundee laddie and always looks committed to the cause. Like Cammy Kerr seized his opportunity following the departure of Paul McGinn, this could be the making of him. I hope he takes his chance and stamps his place in the starting 11.

    Get them fucking telt, Kerr.

    Good luck and thank you.

As things stand Haber and AJLS are our best forward combo, but Haber keeps hurting himself. Possibly hurting himself during his numerous fashion shoots, but seriously every time this year that Haber gets a chance to get back in NMc's good books, and get a look in over the managers golden boy (Moussa) he does well then gets hurt.

I've made myself clear on how I feel about Moussa on these forums (drives me to drink), ElBak is very frustrating, but sometimes he is useful against tiring slower defenders, but he gives the ball away so easily and fires the ball at the net when he should be passing and passes when he should be shooting, it really is maddening.

Even with a healthy Haber we need at least one more striking option, but if Haber is never going to be fully fit this year then we probably need two more forward options in pronto.

Oh, and it sure would be nice to stop conceding comedy goals as well. Please and thank you.

Haber is absolute fucking garbage. It's a toss-up between him and Moussa for me, both utterly terrible football players.

El Bahk is a clueless wee laddie that's out of his depth.

AJLS has shown signs, does a job IMO.

Wighton is rumoured to be nearly back in contention, make or break few months for him at Dundee I reckon.

Long story short, we're fucked up front and are crying out for a proven striker — need to get that sorted in the next 5 days or so...

    Thank you.

I was a season ticket holder that season and I have no recollection of David Cowan. Turns out he made 36 appearances

Cowan wasn't a bad CB for us tbh. Pretty consistent, definitely not one of the worst in that team (from memory!). Gary McKenzie... oooft. Now theres a clugger if I've ever seen one!

ETA: Paul McHale had me crying blood every fucking week. Such an irritating player to watch, similar to James Vincent but with considerably less ability.

    Thank you.

He might not be able to cross a ball but top marks for Cammy Kerr.

My wife is a teacher and he was in the school today, not on official club duties, to see the kids with additional support needs. He done the same last year and had remembered a few of the kids names and written them Christmas cards. One of the kids had been so excited her mum had phoned the school to check it was true because she's been speaking about it all week.

Top Marks, no press presence, just a good deed.

I would honestly marry the Dundee Derry c**t. Love him.

    Thank you.

Kerr is a top bloke and a true Dee.

Happier spending his spare time giving something back to the community rather than sitting in some tattoo artist’s studio!

What's the hate for tattoos? This is the second comment like this I've seen regarding Bain. I think he's a p***k but what does his tattoos have to do with anything?

    Don't understand this at all.

  10. Hiya ab'dy,

Christmas is almost upon us, so it's time to play a festive addition of Keep, Release, Execute.

Same rules as last time; who does everyone want to keep, who would you like to see gone in the January window and (most importantly), who would you like to see publicly executed for their sins? You can have as many 'keep' or 'release' votes as you like, however you're limited to one execution.

This years executions are to happen in the City Square with the trap door opening as we welcome in the New Year.

Here's the list along with my thoughts:

    Goalkeepers
    Scott Bain Execute
    Elliott ParishKeep

    Defenders
    Cammy KerrKeep
    Kevin HoltKeep
    James McPakeRelease
    Darren O’DeaRelease
    Jon AurtenetxeKeep
    Julen ExtxabegurenRelease
    Jack HendryKeep
    Josh MeetingsKeep
    Kostadin GadzhalovKeep
    Kerr WaddellKeep

    Midfielders
    James VincentRelease
    Glen KamaraKeep
    Scott Allan (loan)Keep
    Mark O’HaraKeep
    Paul McGowanKeep
    Roarie DeaconKeep
    Randy WoltersRelease
    Jesse CurranKeep
    Nicky LowRelease
    Lewis SpenceRelease

    Strikers
    Sofien MoussaKeep
    A-Jay Leitch-Smith (loan)Release
    Faissal El BakhtaouiKeep
    Harcus HaberRelease
    Craig WightonKeep

I was thinking about creating a new thread for this, along with an execution vote, but quite frankly I don't give a f**k what other teams think about their players. Dundee votes only.

    Thank you.
