  1. Sure. I'm not proud of the fact that despite knowing it's a sewer I'm finding myself using it more and more, but this is an elected MP, she really should be above picking pointless wee bunfights and playing to the gantry like this, especially when she's more guilty of what she's accusing her target of than the target themselves. It's risible.
  2. As someone who is guilty of it myself, I can understand why people quickly grow tired of having an autistic person rant and monologue at them about their 'special interest' for hours/days/weeks/months/years on end, but conversely, that's exactly why having Greta do this is a masterstroke, because she will absolutely never get sick of it, and she will not give a single, solitary flying f**k what any of her detractors say about her as a result. When it comes to patience and perseverance, you absolutely will not prevail against a neurodivergent with a bee in their bunnet.
  3. Jesus suffering f**k. Now Joanna Cherry is bleating about 'targeted harassment' after she trawled years back on someone else's twitter feed to find something that was clearly a tongue-in-cheek post to misrepresent as evidence of transwomen being inherently violent and dangerous. The owner of the twitter feed in question has cut and paste Cherry's public appearance doing this and posted it on their own feed for the purpose of poking fun at Cherry's ridiculous persecution complex, some UN bod has liked it, and now Cherry is spitting feathers. So yeah, I'm lost, unless of course by 'targeted harassment' she's referring to her own behaviour. The sooner this woman fucks off to join the other muppets in Alba the better. I've no idea why the SNP are continuing to entertain her. She's gone from being a mildly abrasive sometime irritant, to just an outright gibbering mess of an embarrassment. Absolute playground stuff.
  4. It's ok. I can hope for a Pats win this week, because a loss next week will likely keep them out of the playoffs anyway, and I'll just say 10 'f**k Brady's under my breath to even it up.
  5. I was going to make some ill defined quip about popes, chimneys, smoke, and so on, but that would probably be in egregious bad taste given Ratzinger's youth.
  6. I was a bit bemused by all the requests for prayer for auld Ratzinger. Were they seriously doubting he'd get in or something?
  7. Well if you do it in the NAAFI I'd imagine that 'serving' probably is a fairly apt description for it. From what I know of my grandfather's NS, he appears to have spent most of it thieving M.O.D. property.
  8. Well there are folk at City of Edinburgh Council who would call the union in if the only perk of their post was gritter priority and a council tax rebate. Fitted kitchens were the order of the day at one point, along with free holidays, and certain 'services' from professionals if the rumours are true. It's far from over as well. Most of the fuckers on the take appear to have either taken retirement or moved on, but I believe the police are still investigating high value fraud and corruption at CEC HQ so there may yet be more emerges.
  9. Oh jesus christ I've just realised that I really should be pulling for a Pats win this week
  10. I think the 'pokes will comfortably thrash whichever pile of shite wins the NFC South tbh.
  11. Staley says the intention is to activate Joey Bosa for Sunday's game, but Derwin James will not play thanks to his self-inflicted Concussion.
  12. The 'Greta states in in her own blog' is 'black people call themselves n****r' levels of pathetic Firstly, it's Greta's gift to refer to herself and her neurodiversity however she likes, and that is exclusive and not the right of anyone else. Secondly, her mention of autism doesn't come sandwiched between a load of insults. How this utterly repulsive piece of shit still gets airtime on mainstream TV and in the press baffles me.
  13. What a completely baffling INT. The f**k did Dobbs think he was doing? Throws a perfect laser straight to the DB who was slap-bang in his eye-line.
  14. Never good when you see team mates waving for the medical staff before the play is even whistled dead
  15. lolzers. Nobody wants the ball.
  16. Pele and Vivienne Westwood croak on the same day, Pope Benedict rapidly on the way out. Clearly Sturgeon's fault somehow.
  17. Joey Bosa designated to return from IR Kinda suspected something was up with him, because although he plays at high level he hasn't been quite as completely unblockable over the past couple of seasons as he was previously. Hopefully this gets him back to 100% because Mack has been drawing a lot of attention in Bosa's absence and he's still been playing lights out.

    Pele

The greatest footballer in the history of the sport... skins some Brazilian geezer who was half-decent. Been on the cards for a while, but it's still shite. Will always be the greatest of all time in my mind. Didn't score the greatest goal of all time but he helped create it. The casual, nonchalance of the layoff for Carlos Alberto's in the 1970 World Cup Final summed up his brilliance. The smile as well. It was a joy itself to watch him play the game with so much joy and love.
  19. Never ceases to amaze me the degree to which NFL fans vastly over-estimate the trade values of players. Is this down to playing Madden or something?
  20. Given that the relevant legislation is reserved, I'd like Westminster to spell out exactly why they believe there is such a discrepancy in drug-related deaths between Scotland and England, and elaborate on what they believe that the SG should be doing, within the constraints of those laws, that they are not. Explain for us why is it the laws appear to 'work', to an extent at least, to moderate the issue in England, when they do not appear to do so in Scotland despite allegedly being perfectly fit for purpose? Or is it, as I suspect, that the sociological aspect of the issue is entirely different north and south of the border, the constraints of the reserved laws don't permit Scotland to tackle the specifics of the drug problem here in any meaningful way, and that to acknowledge that would mean Westminster and it's BritNat government conceding that no, we aren't just all the same and one nation, something that they are completely unable to bring themselves to do? I'm completely cynical on this issue, because Westminster clearly views this as a useful thing to weaponise against the SG, but what it means in practicality is their intransigence results in more Scots needlessly dying, and I don't think they actually give a shit because the people this is killing are of no value to the Tory party. The Tories especially are firmly stuck in the dogmatic view that anything that liberalises drug laws must by default be inherently a bad thing, and I suspect their core voter base is of much the same view, so until they are fucked off into the sea nothing will change.
  21. Attaining a GRC has no relevance whatsoever to medical transition. It's entirely possible to embark on that without a GRC, and there's nothing about a GRC that mandates it or facilitates it, so I'm at a loss to understand your contention that making the administrative process slightly less convoluted will lead to medical transition becoming 'quicker and easier'. Nothing in your second paragraph has any relevance whatsoever to this bill either. It does not alter or replace the EA in any way, so the situation regarding 'women's spaces' is completely unchanged. The protections and rights the EA establishes thanks to the provision for appropriate exceptions are still very much in place.
  22. Yay! Flexed OUT of a primetime slot for once. (only because the Rams are honking) Big game for the Chargers in pursuit of the #5 seed. I think it could be a potential upset with Baker seemingly rejuvenated and the whole 'fight for LA' thing, but if LAC can't win games like this they have no business being in the playoffs anyway.
