  1. Anyone else 8-0? I'm dreading the day this beautiful run comes to an end.
  2. Football Matches (12) ---------------------------- Ibrox Celtic Park Hampden Easter Road Tynecastle Firs Park New Dundas Park Pennypit Park East Peffermill Stirling Uni Goodison Park Brunton Park Visited (2) ------------ Alianz Arena Stamford Bridge Rugby (4) ------------ Murrayfield Netherdale The Greenyards Myreside American Football (2) ------------------------------ Wembley Meadowbank
  3. Watching the men's RR this morning. It looks stupidly hot. I still don't understand why sporting events are held in the middle of deserts. Money obviously but does no one have common sense?
  4. After just 5 and a half hours sleep, I'm on a train to Glasgow to watch the start of the ToB. I must be mad.
  5. Just kill yourself and respawn.....
  6. It's a strange one and a difficult one for the governing bodies. They ideally want a level field and Semenya's body is in such a way that she has a significant natural advantage over everyone else. Having said that, Usain Bolt is naturally the fastest sprinter in the world and there isn't suggestions that we should somehow handicap him.
  7. I completely understand why this game has negative reviews but I love it. Yes some of the creatures look shit and there are many, many dead wasteland planets but that makes it all the better when you finally discover a cracking giant crab or dinosaur. The grinding and exploration is right up my street, thoroughly enjoying plodding through space. Right now on a lush planet full of life and quite frankly I don't want to leave.
  8. It is indeed. There is going to be movable seats in the bottom tier to slide over the track. Of course, this means from the back of the bottom tier to the front of the upper tier is a 50ft flat area of nothingness. Utterly stupid.
  9. Haircut, buy some alcohol, football.
  10. Strathclyde Partnership for Transport thread for this shite.
  11. I'm inclined to agree, even as a Rangers fan. Bowl like stadia do tend to keep the sound in better than the 4 sided alternatives. Having said that, I have never experienced a good atmosphere in Hampden, it is too wide, too long and too open. Sound just disappears.
  12. It's mostly technique. Going by the strength logic, Rory McIlroy should not be anywhere near the top drivers in the world, yet he is. If you try and 'hit' the ball, the force of your swing will disrupt the clean contact and will likely impose a hook or a slice, hence why a calm consistent swing is always best.
  13. Thanks for going more in depth! I guess I was more trying to point out that defrag should not in any way reduce the storage available.
  14. Defragmentation shouldn't increase or decrease storage. It simply rearranges where files are stored to allow the CPU to access the information quicker and more efficiently. This seems strange.
  15. Is there a keyboard command for your laptop to mirror the screen? Usually like 'FN + F12' or something.
  16. Come on Falkirk, we all want another 30 mins of this!
  17. Confirmed - T5 is sexy. Gatwick on the other hand... Disaster. London City was fun to fly in and out of but the terminal itself is tiny for the number of passengers. Not much room to expand mind you.
  18. Weeze is horrendous. The tiny security area for so many dodgy Ryanair flights was a mare. We got the shuttle from Cologne which was slow and shitty then had to queue for an hour and a half to get into the departure lounge.... Which turned out to be a tiny amount of seats and the worlds worst duty free. Add Birmingham to the list of gash airports. Edinburgh is a great for a city of this size.
  19. Na but was thinking of building my own £600 rubber globe....
  20. It's 1 month today until Electric Six play the Liquid Rooms in Edinburgh.
  21. Stirling Uni is where I went and I loved every second of it. The campus is second to none. The English department is in a friggen castle.
  22. I do but not where I came across this.It was through the delights of social media.
