  2. Wemyss Bay was founded in 1974 by Tom Weir, of Weir's Way, as he needed somewhere to keep his ducks
  3. Don't worry. It'll be a sell out. The SNP have taken every seat in Glasgow!
  4. 18% of the population of Coatbridge have never heard of Coca Cola: the highest percentage in the UK beating the closest challenger, Pontypridd, by 8%
  5. Anyone else looking forward to this? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0475784/ HBO series (so will have tits and swearing), good cast and a good team behind it. Ed Harris in the Yul Brynner role by the lookds of things as well and he's a right evil looking b*****d.
  6. I always forget how bloody loud guns are. Anyway all this talk about Canadian bands and nothing about Neil Young or Leonard Cohen? Away wi' yerels
  7. Emo started with Embrace And that's where it shoudla ended
  8. Also forgive the vague description (and it might not even be there anymore) but the best night I had in Australia was a random pub I stumbled upon just outside Chinatown in Melbourne called "The <forgot this part> Hotel". Pretty sure it was named after a place in England like "The Devonshire Hotel". Just a really weird mixed clientèle full of absolute weirdos who were all friendly as f**k. Also, dunno if it's yer thing, but the theme parks in the Gold Coast are good fun Found it: http://www.exfordhotel.com.au/ Again no idea what it's like now. I ended up helping a Thai guy hustle American tourists at pool
  9. Been a while since I lived there but up the Gold Coast check out Coolangatta: good surfing and ice cream. Relaxed wee place. Reminded me of Largs
  10. The Belfast Telegraph comments on Facebook are a gold mine
  11. I reckon it is a pen. Ambrose's hand starts off underneath him and ends up to the side. He's obviously moved it toward the ball
  12. I had a choice at the start of the month to go to this game of one of my best friend's weddings I hate my friend
  13. I wish I'd seen this earlier. Just because I lived in Chelsea at the time and would have had a great time winding up the junior pleb
  14. f**k MonkeyT. Morton will win the 1st division, challenge cup, league cup and get beat on penalties by Celtic in the Scottish Cup final. Our 2-0 victory against Fulham at Craven Cottage in the Europa League will go down in history, Scotland will get independence and become the richest country in the world, my dick will grow another four inches and my waistline will shed the same amount. Jet packs for all and Sean Connery will cure cancer. It's pre-season and I believe in miracles (until we get horsed by Cowdenbeath)
  15. Everyone should have a litle optimism before a ball is kicked. It's what this time of the year's all about
  16. But haven't you been paying attention? WE NEED Old Firm fans. They'd fucking love to leave the rest of us out of their programmes altogether
  17. Hamilton Accies did. Got a 15 point penalty as well if memory serves. I think Livvy's was different as they were refusing to play until the outcome of an appeal?
  18. Fucking right the playing staff is not an asset. Lee McCullloch? Poor b*****ds.
  19. A few of my Rangers supporting mates are saying the youth players they have + guys like McCulloch will easily be enough to win the league. I just looked at some of the "promising youth players" Rangers have had over the years on that site: Iain Chambers, Steven McAdam, David Young, Kirk Willoughby, Michael Stone.... Play offs at best if this transfer ban is in place
