Kilmarnock v Sevco 5088
killiemilan replied to deadasdillinger's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
No issue with him being english the fact that he is a classless cnut is the issue. Why would him being english give me an issue? We have english players and indeed have an english assistant manager at Killie. -

I remember that quote and was angry at that one too. Obviously thinking he is entitled to make such quotes sums up the entitlement of sevco fans and is one of the reasons we hate them all so very much. -

Some classless disrespectful comments from gerrard after the game. "when you make 2 mistakes at places like this" "it was definitely a 9.8 for the dive" "they're well suited to this surface" "the referee is not going to give us a soft one away to Kilmarnock" What a horrible character he is and a very poor football manager. Not to mention the vile disgusting songs that came from the sevco supporters. I wonder when the authorities will grow some and punish them by closing stands or docking points. -

Scottish fitbaw seems like a stroll in the park for Bruce. And I dont think he will have the rushes of blood that Big Kirk gives us(nor the red cards!) -

I honestly think that as a man of honour he will fulfil his contract and stay for next season. That is based on very little other than my own instincts. I think he is too professional to do the job part time but his ways are well established and I think missing perhaps a Monday training wouldn't have a negative effect. I hope he brings his family up for the last game and we can really show them all how much we appreciate him. Would be great to see his wife, kids and grand kids have a great day out as we beat rangers. -

Interestingly I think the opposite! Basically we have no idea what is going on with Mr Clarke's future. Some don't want to get too excited he is staying and have resigned themselves to him leaving but others just believe and hope he is staying. -

Nice comment from Michael Stewart today that Hibs defeat makes it a "little bit more difficult to qualify for Europe". Eh Michael it makes it impossible. -

I did feel a wee bit sorry for the players kids who were already coming onto the pitch as we left. Can't see her sacking the manager so best option for Hearts would be if he decides to move upstairs as Director of Football again. Doesn't seem to be the same intimidating atmosphere at Tynecastle these days? Even in games we've won in the past there been a good noise from home fans which was lacking yesterday and also at the game earlier in the season. Obviously something isn't right around the club. -

How did the lap of honour for Hearts go? Might have been a hundred Hearts fans still in the stadium when we left. Embarrassing -

They asked the "pundits/experts" tonight to predict tomorrows games.Scott McDonald onHearts v Killie said it would be same as last game at that venue between the teams 0-0.the result was 0-1 in Killie's favour last time. McDonald then went on to say it hadn't been a boring draw as he had been at the game and it was very entertaining. Surely a producer or someone would have a note of the previous meetings between the teams which were all 1-0 results in favour of the away team? -

Chatting about the Scotland debacle Preston suggests that the "big" teams Celtic,Rangers,Hibs and Hearts should be allowed colt teams in the lower leagues cos it works well for the Spanish. Yogi had a different thought suggesting players should do their apprenticeship at clubs like Livi but only when they sign for a Rangers or Celtic should they get a call up for Scotland. Oh dear. -

Can you please explain why a tackle is different on 3/4G to grass? Other aspects are quite obviously different but my uneducated mind fails to see the difference in tackles especially when talking about differences of training v competitive matches. -

Bear in the mind the accounts quoted refer to 2017/18 which does NOT include the significant increases in attendance for the current 2018/19 season. Also not included is the increased sponsorship for current season and also the investment from Phyliss McLeish into the club believed to be around £100K -

I suspect it will depend where the players are coming from ?With regards to the Liverpool ones there can be no doubt Gerrard would be asking the relevant person if he can have player X,Y or Z or maybe even all 3. Otherwise it would appear the guy Allen may identify the players. I suspect Gerrard may be trusted by his own board however how players are treated by management, players, officials and fans will certainly influence bigger clubs allowig their talents to go to on loan. Bizarrely many clubs seem to prefer their players not playing but training with the first team squad as opposed to playing weekly at a lesser club. I honestly think Gerrard is trying to get his players to do things they arent good enough to do. tricky balance as nothing worse than those who think they are better tan they are and actually cannot deliver. Play to your players strengths and where they are not where you want them t be. -

I wonder if this young lads experience will influence other clubs and indeed Liverpool sending players to Ibrox on loan? Clubs want to know their precious talents are being looked after both on and off the park. I don't like the tone of Gerrards comments slagging off players saying their not good enough etc. and that he'll just get more players in to replace them. Surely a good coach would train them to do better and not try to get them to do things they aren't capable of? Gerrard seems to think his players are of the quality he played with at Liverpool and England however that is far from the case. -

Very true. It seemed an impossible task to find a Celtic leaning pundit with less brain cells than Murdo but somehow the BBC managed it. And he has taken things to another level! -

I do recall someone asking Stephen Craigen if he felt McDonald would be good for Dundee Unitedand he replied he will be a good influence on the park. When pressed they asked him will he be a good influence at the club and Craigen again replied he can be a goodinfluence on the park. Was blatently obvious to anyone that Craigen felt Scott would not be a good influence or role model off the park. -

Probably not helped by the fact that Dodds hates Killie with a passion. Rejected as a youth and never forgiven us. Don't get me started on Scott McDonald. -

Yep 100%. Was talking about it now being a squad game and subs can change matches. Unlike old days when only made one or two subs etc... Then asked Richard Gordon something like " however many subs clubs have these days". Utterly staggering. Imagine humiliating yourself via the national broadcaster on a weekly basis. He must be desperate for the cash or have no morals?
