  1. Only five players played in more games than Cuddihy last season. Only four players started more games than him. That said, I think he was rushed back too early at times given his hamstrings seemed to be the main issue. 21-22 he missed a lot of games but that was primarily to a bad ankle injury against Clydebank that he reinjured when he returned prematurely. A contact injury, not a muscle one. Even then, being involved in 27 of 42 games is hardly the sign of someone who is "injury prone".
  2. Injured all of pre season, I don't think he's ever recovered really. You can see that technically he's quite decent but he's just seemed completely off the pace.
  3. Apparently de Souza Eugenio is actually called Deivid Washington. I'm pretty sure a Chelsea fan wouldn't have a clue who five or six of them are.
  4. Referees never bother me really, particularly newer ones. What does irritate is the ones that have been around for a while and are poor (Kirkland, Stuart, Grainger as examples). There's a huge body of evidence to suggest they'll never be up to it.
  5. A very ugly second half. Never a good sign when tactical changes and subs make you noticeably worse.
  6. Mistake by Dunachie for the goal, great finish but not convinced the goalkeeper should be beaten from that angle either. East Fife could have had a penalty but other than that we've had four great chances to score a goal. Should be level at worst.
  7. Advertised as a right back which didn't help, he's basically only played in midfield. Didn't do much in L1 but been good in his two L1 starts.
  8. There have been other class loan signings like Kris Doolan and Scott Tiffoney who contributed nothing despite being good everywhere else. This does seem like the profile of player who will make a difference though. We've desperately needed someone to link midfield to attack and if he can beat a player, even better. He'll definitely not be scoring a free kick for Clyde though.
  9. Defensively we were good the last two games (two horrendous individual errors against Stranraer aside) but having the wee bit extra up top, and options on the bench, will make a massive difference. Presumably Mulvanny will be back as well.
  10. Bo'ness Athletic (East of Scotland third division) rather than Bo'ness United (Lowland league). Still an impressive tally.
  11. I daresay the Championship clubs will keep squad players to cover the Challenge cup this weekend as well.
  12. He dislocated his knee in the summer didn't he? Surely he isn't fit yet?
  13. All I want from this game is for Man U to bring on Jonny Evans instead of Harry Maguire.
  14. Scott Allan is at a team in NI now, there's not a chance it's Kane Ritchie-Hosler; he's been injured.
  15. I never think that Munro is a particularly bad defender for L2 but he is an absolutely awful footballer. That said, Forfar have far bigger problems on that showing today.
  16. My standards have dropped to the level where I'm reasonably positive about that second half. McCulloch is improving by the week and Cameron was great when moved centrally. Plenty of effort from the rest, just that cutting edge missing. There's definitely a worse team in the league than Clyde, when we get a majority of players fit. Possibly Forfar.
  17. I really think they should be relegating two teams from this division. Awful first half.
  18. Carswell and Forbes both involved, so you would guess any issues have been dealt with (was Carswell just injured?). Forbes should only be coming on to play a free role with no defensive responsibility. I think Carswell has been harshly assessed given he had no preseason.
  19. Well done on sticking that on here. Why is that sort of update only being sent to members?
  20. Don't wait up tomorrow; the deadline is Friday.
  21. '9' can only mean one thing. L2 is a different thing entirely but I thought he looked absolutely finished last season. And not great the seasons prior to that.
  22. I'd heard a rumour at the last home game about a potential new director; someone with a background very much in football who actually knows Clyde pretty well. I daresay it's been put on the back-burner with the EGM stuff, plus I've not heard anyone else mention it.
  23. I think he's probably offside; that image isn't even exactly when Cuddihy is putting the ball through. That said, the linesman isn't up with play so he is guessing to some extent. What is more of an issue is the Stranraer player getting away with the two footed lunge moments beforehand. It's as bad a tackle as I've seen in some time. The assistant justified it to McLean by saying he didn't make contact! He didn't, but that doesn't stop it being a yellow or red card.
