  1. Musselburgh game was £2250 for TV. This game is £24000. And £19500 prize money (if knocked out). Given we have been diabolical this season, it's a decent financial return regardless of tickets, hospitality etc.
  2. Thank you, I had noticed them reappear last night. I really, really don't want to moan about something else but the lack of communication regarding this event is baffling. A couple of emails that originally bounced into my junk mail; no twitter/Facebook posts, no website story. It is so weird.
  3. Tickets haven't been available over the weekend and I've not had a response to my enquiry as to why. Anyone got any idea? Having been to a number of these I'd be amazed if it was "sold out".
  4. The only time Manchester United looked interested was the 5 seconds when Pope was lying on the ground with one working arm.
  5. Michael Stewart is an absolute idiot. How about Radio Scotland force their pundits to learn the laws of the game?
  6. That is assuming it's not rearranged for 10 days time, which was the guidance for pre Christmas matches before covid.
  7. Not seen many frames end 101-94 before. Mainly as it hasn't ever happened. I love watching weird records happening live.
  8. I'm sure they're authenticated and auctioned on some dodgy crypto platform.
  9. Spartans v Hearts seems obvious and I'd much rather they pick a game that's fairly competitive with a backstory, like County v Thistle.
  10. The only league side we haven't played this millennium. Definitely a lot of worse draws than that.
  11. The players worked hard and whilst we are clearly a poor side, we did the job tonight. I think we are definitely better than EoS level. I've no idea how they stuck 6 past Elgin and their keeper looked the sort of guy that gets called in as a ringer on a Sunday morning. Sula should be starting every game, his distribution is by far the best of our centre halves. A back three suits Grant (maybe noone else though?). Hynes was our best player by a mile; McCall got his selection in midfield spot on. Leslie did well later on when we were down to ten. Just delighted to get any sort of win, and longer than a full week to enjoy it. It's always a laugh when a referee stops refereeing properly and just ends up in a spiral of exceedingly awful decisions. That said, Cameron's tackle (sliding front on, into a standing player) is almost always given as a foul and a card, even if it's perfectly timed. I hate it.
  12. Meh. After a poor start where Jeanfield eventually puffed themselves out, we have been the better side as the half went on but so many of those players are completely shot of whatever confidence they may have had at some point.
  13. He signed for them before McCall's appointment and we couldn't have paid him anything until January anyway as he was released after the transfer deadline.
  14. Also on the 18th November. It also took Danny Lennon 5 and a half games for us to score a goal, and we didn't win until his 8th game.
  15. Funnily enough, we have only lost 4-0 at home in a league match twice in 27 years. Or twice in our last three home matches. Depends which way you look at it.
  16. Speaking of brains, the East Fife player choosing to knock a second ball that had rolled onto the edge of the pitch, right into the centre of the pitch as play continued, was one of the stupidest things I've seen in a game. He even complained when he got booked!
  17. Brian McLaughlin's fawning over Duncan Ferguson was puke-inducing and absolutely pathetic in equal measure..
  18. I've said Leighfield was rubbish since his debut at Cove, at least Parry makes a brilliant save occasionally. Bigger crowd than usual, new manager and playing another side having a stinker. No excuse for that performance. It is not possible to describe how much I detest Jim Duffy and the clown that appointed him.
  19. Apart from Hynes I'd be sending all of these to the transfer list at halftime. And wondering why I can't terminate King's loan. Absolutely dreadful. No idea what has happened to Dunachie but he's fallen off a cliff in the last month.
  20. If it leads to Leighfield and Lyon being jettisoned in January then it's worth it.
  21. I'm happy to admit I'm miles off playing at this level but I think I could be doing better than this Falkirk goalie.
  22. Neil Scally confirmed as well, so his usual double act has been assembled which is another positive. Tough one for Chris Miller but that's the way football is unfortunately.
  23. I'm delighted with that. I genuinely think that it's the best appointment we could possibly make. For all the stick the board take they've absolutely nailed a candidate that ticks nearly every box. It is very important he is now given time to clean up a considerable mess. It won't be a quick fix, will probably take until January at least. However, I also think that such an appointment will be given a bit of patience that others would not.
  24. Rice left Alloa to go to Livingston in some coaching capacity.
