  1. Avian armageddon happening above my head just now. Hundreds of seagulls going mental cos of a couple of hawks. Hoping for a major cull of seagull nests. Mon the hawks!!
  2. Saw an auld felly who must've been at least 80 walking through Falkirk today with a swagger Liam Gallagher would be proud of. Live Forever indeed.
  3. The Donald can do no wrong in their eyes. A crusading paedo basher and a shining beacon of human decency. My response is usually to call them fucking idiots or pish myself laughing. I think if i was to give any constructive criticism i'd end up with my photo on some QAnon website claiming i was a low level member of the cabal
  4. It honestly feels that way at times. You could be forgiven for thinking they were on day release from ward 30.
  5. You didn't happen to pay about 15 grand for this "chair" ??
  6. I hear this shit every day at work. Michelle Obama's a man and her real name is Michael LeVaughn or something. Tom Hanks , Ellen DeGeneres and The Rock are "paedavores", took me a few seconds to work that one out. Wayfair. Covid is a hoax. Trumps state visits to, amongst others, China and Saudi Arabia, is actually a cover for him single handedly breaking up international paedophile rings. Its actually quite worrying how many people completely believe this and the "irrefutable evidence" they have painstaking researched online i.e. watched a guy on youtube.
  7. Cheers guys, i'll rethink this one, some heavy rain coming this week
  8. He's 5 months and a wee poser, loves a camera
  9. Beinn Ghlas and Ben Lawers yesterday in 5 hours, fairly pleased with that. Was wondering what my first glimpse of Lawers would be from the top of Ghlas, happy to see it would be a formality. Busy day on the route with a wee queue at the trig point helped no doubt by the decent weather. An easy and pleasant walk back to the car. Planning on taking the bairns next week to do Meall Buidhe, sounds like a perfect first Munro for them.
  10. My old man took me to see Rush in '93 at the SECC on the Roll the Bones tour, can't remember much apart from it being a shit venue. First gig with my mates was Super Furries at the Barras on the Guerilla tour in '99. That descent into a techno apocalypse at the end was mind blowing. Think it was Clinic as support.
  11. Got tickets for Doves at the Barras in April. The 2 new songs are great and they were amazing at SWG3 last year, so really looking forward to this and also the album next month.
  12. Sad to hear about Davie Hagen today. My memory of him will always be when i was about 13 and shopping in stirling for a new pair of football boots, he was standing next to me in the shop and came over to give me advice on what to buy and had a wee chat. Unfortunately i was still shite and i will always hold that against him. But a good guy and good player. Fucking horrible disease. RIP.
  13. Cheers for that Swello. Mayar and Dreish are already in sight for the end of August, will check out the others. I spend a good bit of time looking over the maps before setting off but not yet got the experience to fully understand them, will keep that in mind about the ascent. Gonna take a wee step back for the next couple of weeks and do Ben Venue and Ben Cleuch. Then take another crack at some Monro's. Some photos from yesterday, View to the west Sron a'Choire Ghairbh Loch Lochy from the summit
  14. After Beinn Each last week I was buzzing and decided on the Loch Lochy Munro's today. Maybe (definitely) a bit over confident there. Got up there after a 3 hour drive and managed Meall Na Teanga, got back to the bealach, looked up at Sron a'Choire Ghairbh and thought fcuk that. Just as well, was absolutely dying when i got back to the car after just over 7 hrs. Loved the walk though, except the forest track on the way back which was soul destroying. The views on the way up Meall were incredible. Just the third Munro I've done and its the first walk where I've been totally emptied at the end. The wind and rain at the top was brutal yet strangely enjoyable. Now sitting at the Whispering Pines on my second pint looking up at the big b*****d, can't believe i just walked up there
  15. First walk in about 6 months this morning was a short and painful stint up Beinn Each at Loch Lubnaig. 15 mins in and my calves were burning. Grateful for the respite on the track, but half way up the ascent i was a physical wreck. Still, managed the top and back in 2.5 hours. Stunning views out to Loch Earn and across Forth Valley. Planning to do Vorlich, Stuc and Each from Loch Earn later this year but after todays showing i'll need to get the fitness up.
  16. The Dead Don't Die A comedy horror film which is neither funny or scary. Rubbish zombies with an even worse script. Utter pish. 1/10
  17. Yeah correct. Ans she should have been restrained and arrested by said copper. Not brazenly assaulted She's probably safer getting decked tbf
  18. On a side note, im lying gassed in the garden after 2nd day back at work after 2 months off and the wee lass is playing Avril14th by Aphex Twin and Im Still standing by elton john on the keyboard. And its still about 15 degrees. Fucking magic
