  1. I have zero interest in greyhound racing but I'm very surprised at this. How is it any more cruel than, say, horseracing? I mean they don't (to my knowledge) have a wee guy on they back whipping them to make them go faster and dugs fucking love chasing things. Am I missing something?
  2. Mani, Chuck D, Mick Head and Matthew Herbert
  3. "Swing by KFC and pick me up a Call On Al Bucket" A fucking what? "A Call on Al Bucket" You mean a Colonel Bucket "NO! It's spelt C-O-L-O-N-E-L. Call on Al!"
  4. What's the odds it's got the number 1690 embossed at the bottom?
  5. This has made me laugh harder than anything I've seen this year. Fucking tears.
  6. Magnificent. Can't tell if that's her tickling his ear or healing him by removing the bullet from his head.
  7. I, for one, am really enjoying this mourning period. Thursday - cans while watching the news. Friday - cans while laughing at meme's Gonna mix it up today with a bottle of vodka and blaring 90's Detroit Techno out in the back garden. Whilst laughing at meme's
  8. The Manics we're one of those band I liked during my teens without ever really getting into them. I read a gushing review of The Holy Bible about 10 years ago and thought I'd give it a bash. f**k me, I've never felt so utterly shite after listening to an album, like actually dirty. I sat for a while afterwards thinking about it, not really sure if I should listen to it again or set my phone on fire. Because I thought that despite feeling awful, I think I kind of liked it. A few more listens and I realised that it is indeed an absolute work of genius.
  9. Can someone please give the story to Ruel Street, seen this phrase many times over the years. Thank you.
  10. New favourite generic lager. WD40 is for later before anyone says
  11. John Doran's British Masters series for Noisey is brilliant. Interviews with a wide range of musicians. Working my way through these over the last few weeks. Highlights so far have been John Lydon, Mick Head, Stuart Braithwaite, Aidan Moffat and Viv Albertine
  12. Kismet is song of the year for me, up there with his very best. He played the full album at St Lukes a couple of weeks ago, sounded brilliant.
  13. Going to see them at Mono this Friday, can't wait.
