  1. IIRC Tranent play EK on the last day of the season at Forester's. I can't see the league still being up for grabs at that stage, but how good would a last day title decider be?
  2. We're really not that good ourselves. We are suffering from the loss of Moult, Gallagher, Docherty and (on Friday) Sibbald. We all get injuries, but they've probably been four of our best five players this season, and our recent form is not all that either. With that in mind, it's not a great time for Rovers to lose form themselves, your recent results since beating us at Tannadice have let us off the hook a bit. There's probably an element of both clubs regressing to the mean, the brilliant form of both sides until mid December is very unusual for the Championship. Dundee won the league least year with 63 points, and we are both sitting on 44 points in mid January. It's not a given United will win the league from here, trust me. Maybe it suits Raith Rovers to be the pursuers.
  3. True. Tranent did beat EK 7-0 in the cup, but I can't see them dropping enough points in other games. Tranent are not in great form themselves despite winning yesterday. EK are comfortably the best side in the league and should go up.
  4. Wind back seven days and it was United fans who were losing their shit over a disappointing home defeat. Some perspective needed from all of us, I think.
  5. Dundee United have always had the power to turn Scot Gardiner into a seething mess. Which is nice
  6. Based on what I have seen this season, the entire Partick Thistle team
  7. I think it's been forgotten because Raith Rovers seem to score last minute winners every week, but we must have won a lot of points this season due to goals in the last five minutes of games. Says something about the team, anyway.
  8. He could have been, but his confidence was utterly destroyed after one season at our shitty club and he ended up being dropped for Deniz Mehmet. Which sort of says it all, really.
  9. Even I would consider a home game against Dundee United being a big game to be quite the stretch. We haven't beaten you at Celtic Park since 1992
  10. I don't believe for a second Harry Milne has had a better season than Scott McMann, by the way. ETA: I haven't thought about the full team, but three out of our back four should definitely be in there (sorry, Liam Grimshaw, not this year). Not sure about best keeper, Dabrowski has been very good, but so has Walton, albeit in a slightly more understated way.
  11. Dragutin Ristic? Rab Shannon? Stewart McKimmie? *shudders*
  12. His name has always looked wrong to me. Every fibre of my being wants to type it as Grieve.
  13. You're right. Only tinpot clubs would do that
  14. We'll offer them 6p in the pound to go away. Sorted
