  1. Maybe MJ should offer to host all Rangers' games too? That would bring in some cash. New favourites for takeover should Secvo fail to get into the league?
  2. More like scalextric for me - unbelievable crashes, only to go back on and do the same again
  3. When I read the reports from the Record, etc, and listen to the radio, I actually start to understand how the Rangers fans can be so deluded. If all I read/heard was that Stephen Thompson was a billionaire and we were going to win the Champions League, I'd probably be off my head too!
  4. "Bheasts we wish were Bhears" Celebrating all the great Celtic players you wish had played for Rangers.
  5. He'll never take you seriously if you don't put your real name Good letter, but to be honest, Longmuir seems to be the only guy who has produced the same statement every time. I sincerely he hope he hasn't produced the world's greatest ever bluff
  6. If you have some spare cash, take out an advert in each of the papers, and use it to showcase your open letter.
  7. So he is boycotting FIFA? Rangers-ness is deeply ingrained. He can't be saved
  8. Doesn't mean you're not right unfortunately. ST has consistently flip-flopped between "We want them out" and "We might need them". I thought last night he finally nailed his colours to the mast, but apparently that may not be the case.
  9. I would happily tune in for 30 minutes of them doing Traynor and Young crying.
  10. It goes back to the "Are they, aren't they" argument. If they are the same club, then there should be no problem with them applying at the bottom, but they should be liable for the sanctions. If they aren't the same club, a precedent was set with Airdrieonians/United. No history, no accounts, no way. I would have no problem with them applying to SFL 3, but as with the SPL, there is no way the rules should be fudged just to let them in.
  11. Wiki is your friend Sounds superb - can't wait for the film!
  12. You're still a dreamer until it's 100% confirmed. As it stands, I am taking the result in 4 months, 8 days and counting!
  13. With all the clubs announcing a no vote, it may be time for a musical interlude This one's for you, Sevco!
  14. Regardless of how they want to vote, it's a win-win for the Celtic board IMO. If Sevco are voted in (unlikely as it is now), Celtic keep the joint sponsorship/merchandising deals which they currently enjoy, while having the get out of "Well we couldn't vote them in ourselves, you lot needed to do it too". If Sevco don't get in, Celtic have an easy shot at a CL place for about 5 years, and the income that brings will offset any losses in no Rangers. They also have the classic sneidy friend approach to Rangers of "We wanted you, but we were outvoted/our hand was forced by the diddies". The second scenario is obviously better for the fans, and the lack of Rangers would hopefully force Celtic's bigots away from the game. Thus leaving just the gloryhunters. Well, I didn't feel right saying something relatively positive about them, I had to say something negative to balance it out!
  15. This could be a positive move. Rangers require 17 yes votes from the available 12.
  16. In all seriousness, this could be an issue. I wonder if they will set a dealine on when subs must be paid to avoid voting being skewed by "Motherwell fans" suddenly joining to have their say.
  17. If you read on a little further, you can tell it wasn't particularly serious, and more a dig at the "couple of posters" you mention. I'm sure you can guess which ones even without reading my subsequent posts! From what I can tell, most Motherwell fans, like most United fans, would go mental if The Newco FC Rangers 2012 were readmitted to the SPL. And rightly so. Though Motherwell actually exited admin in 2004
  18. He can't even do that right! Anyone worth their salt would have sought clarity...
  19. You mean Jim McLean, his ghost, and TSAR don't speak for the majority of Motherwell fans? I am shocked
  20. There seems to be a strong defence of Rangers/TNR from Motherwell fans. Is it a sense of sporting justice and fairness, or a lingering fear that their club might be retrospectively punished for shafting creditors too?
