  1. Went to Gent 6-1 Eupen today. I think Eupen are probably the worst team I've ever seen in the flesh. Mikael Lustig was playing for Gent.
  2. Thanks. I think I'll just try and get the tickets delivered to whichever hostel I decide to stay at, which is not actually booked yet. Hopefully that will work
  3. Does anyone have any experience of ordering Hamburg tickets? I'm trying to book for the game against Bochum next Sunday and I'm trying to work out the tickets can be printed/collected as delivery doesn't really suit me
  4. Goodwin who rejected the chance to be St Mirren manager in the Premiership to stay at Alloa?
  5. I don't think there is any strict definition of what a Technical Director/DoF actually is. It depends entirely on how whoever writes the job description decides to define it. They might end up having a say in playing squad if asked to, or not. Although I'm not against having an extra layer of scrutiny for transfers considering Rae/Stubbs approach to the transfer market.
  6. We should have probably sacked Stubbs when he hired Darren Jackson as his assistant
  7. I'm sure you brought around 1000 to St Mirren the season you were hammering all the diddies in League One and we were bottom of the table. We won 4-0.
  8. Probably Gregg Ryder, applied for St Mirren and Morton jobs in the summer.
  9. A few years back, I read a blog about a couple of Austrian guys that managed to get a train into North Korea from Russia through a route that wasn't supposed to be open to Westerners. Ended up in the country unsupervised for a couple of days, and were able to visit parts of the country that foreigners never normally got to see. http://vienna-pyongyang.blogspot.co.uk
  10. Stay in Düsseldorf, Leverkusen is a shithole, and so is Gelsenkirchen allegedly. Leverkusen is only 15-30 minutes from Düsseldorf can get a train easily enough. I got tickets on the day for Leverkusen (against Bremen as well), but probably not the best thing to do. Try emailing the clubs and see what they say.
  11. Düsseldorf is probably the best place to go, and I have seen other people on here recommend it. From there you are less than an hour from, Borussia Dortmund, Schalke, Bayer, Mönchengladbach and Köln in the Bundesliga alone. As well as teams like Fortuna Düsseldorf and Duisburg in the lower leagues as well. When I went, I saw Bayer and Duisburg, got tickets on the day for Bayer, but probably got lucky, because I think it sold not long after. Duisburg and other lower league games should be easy enough to get tickets. So should probably try and get tickets in advance, Borussia Dortmund sell out every game, other teams I'm not sure, might be easy to get tickets for games against the smaller teams. You can fly to Düsseldorf easily enough from Scotland. Other option would be Hertha Berlin, I believe tickets are easy enough to get and they only really sell out against Bayern.
  12. I am pretty sure, as well as being sold to Turkey, a lot of it is, or at least was in the past, being sold to the Assad regime, just need some corrupt middlemen and cheaper than normal prices. Plenty of people on both sides who will quite happily ignore their ideology for money.
  13. Probably fans are just bitter after getting knocked out in the group stage/last 16.Either that or those who know that English teams are not good enough to really compete anyway
  14. Spain did not recognise Kosovo because Serbia did not allow Kosovo independence. The situations are not comparable, considering that Westminster is letting the referendum happen. Spain are not going to block us, just because of there own problems.
  15. Was at Malmo vs Kalmar game yesterday. Only around £9 for tickets in standing section, atmosphere was brilliant, really enjoyed it. The game itself wasn't great, Kalmar were very poor and despite only winning 1-0, Malmo were quite comfortable.
