  1. I'm not sure where the money would come from to allow Rangers 2.0 to buy someone out. They'd have to bung a few million to the victims, pay redundancy to the victims' players and then splurge out on their own new players. (I'm assuming that they couldn't go through that process quickly enough to ensure they hang on to the majority of DeadRangers' better players.)
  2. He writes a gossip column. I now see him and Chick as Cissie and Ada, leaning across the fence, massive bosoms supported by folded arms, gnashing their gums, mouthing the unsayable, talking absolute mince.
  3. I was trying to imagine what effect that would have on Glasgow on a Saturday afternoon. Would there suddenly be thousands of Orcs blinkig their way up Argyle Street, pointing at shop window displays and grunting 'feck's that?'.
  4. Working his way up through the leagues and learning his trade as he goes would be the perfect apprenticeship for SAlly.
  5. At the risk of repeating myself, I can't understand Green's logic regarding TUPE. Either he expected the players' contracts to transfer over to the newco, in which case £5.5M is a criminal undervauation of the company's assets, or he didn't, in which case, why is bleating now? I wish one of the papers or TV reporters would ask him exactly that question.
  6. You seem awfy keen to let us know you're a nurse. Is there a punchline coming? BTW, if you really are a nurse, I hope they don't let you administer any of the prescriptions.
  7. Not sure about that. When I was TUPEd, I had the choice to transfer to the new company (same terms and conditions) or leave. There was no option to stay with the old company and no option to be made redundant. The role wasn't redundant - it had just been moved to a new employer.
  8. He can't have his cake and eat it. If he's right, then he's getting a squad worth £30M or so for only £6M. Haudit & Daudit would be sued from here to Barlinnie for selling them off that cheaply.
  9. I don't believe that it's in the adminstrators' gift to make that sale now that the goalposts have moved. While the CVA still had legs they could at least argue that no one else had made a bid for the team. Now that the team no longer exists, I believe that it's the liquidators who will dispose of the assets. If Haudit & Daudit try to sneak a sale' through before BDO are appointed, i think they'll find themselves accused of professional misconduct or worse.
  10. Thanks for the link, Chico. Green's comments are full of so much gobbledegook and non sequitors that he's not really saying anything. That last quote you listed, for example: What does 'we need to be unified in the product' mean? And, guessing at the meaning, why do the Honest 11 have to be 'unified' with Rangers (2012) rather than with, say, Dundee or Dunfermline? The rest of that sentence is just a string of words.
  11. I'm in. I'll have 3 of those posts. Have I mentioned I'm in administration?
  12. It did back in the 60s. I remember St Patrick's Day rammies between St Columba's and whichever local 'Proddy' schools were looking for a fight. I suspect we didn't know WHY we were fighting, though - we just did it because it was what the Catholics and the Prods did!
  13. I'm afraid I can't live up to my tag when it comes to the current Rangers' saga. Normally, no problem.
  14. I think the CVA will be rejected and Rangers liquidated. Which leads onto a few questions: 1. Will anyone come along who is willing to set up 'Rangers 2012'? That must have been Greene's plan all along, though. 2. Will Rangers2012 will be allowed into the SPL? 3. Will any such membership come at a cost to Rangers 2012? The sins of the fathers, if you like. 4. Will the SFA/SPL continue to look into Old Rangers EBT and tax shennanigans after they've died, with a view to voiding any of their trophies? I think the answers are 1. Greene 2. Depends on how quickly they can get things set up 3. No and 4. No. I'm just comforting myself with the fact that 100 plus years of history will have been washed won the plughole, no matter what the fans sing.
  15. Edited and still couldn't get his punctuation right. Or his spelling. Or get close to the truth. What exactly did he edit?
  16. Imagine if this was happening to an English club side, say Liverpool, Man U or Chelsea. I don't think Traynor and Young's equivalents down there (Five Live?) would dare be so partisan.
