  1. At this rate we'll find the Loch Ness Monster before we announce the new striker If he is coming back from an injury then maybe he can't pass a medical yet?
  2. I can’t help but feel whoever the mystery striker is, the manager has put a lot of expectations on him. There was less said when we tried to sign Ronaldinho.
  3. I felt it was, Olusanya got to it a fraction before him and in the league with VAR it would have been given, hard for a ref to see in real time though. I actually liked the lad, he has been around a bit for someone still quite young but he held his own physically and was a bit of a pest, absolutely could have seen red on a different day but would probably have been harsh. Arbroath are a very streetwise team and worked the margins on what is acceptable, their 20 yard walks on throw ins and making a back for bigger players in the air were my favourites. DC has them well drilled.
  4. Looks like they are too busy updating the group table on the BBC.
  5. Strain was screaming when the physio tried to manipulate his ankle.
  6. Olusanya got there first, a baffling decision by the ref.
  7. Given our loan signing is only coming in till January and the youngsters don’t look ready, I can’t see us shipping both out.
  8. Totally disagree, he has wriggled his way through and set Madron up at least twice.
  9. A kind way to put it is that Arbroath are skilled in the dark arts of the game; making a back at headers being a favourite.
  10. Olusanya and Madron have linked up really well as a brand new pairing.
  11. April 1987. My first game naturally started with a defeat but the excitement of walking into Love Street had me hooked.
  12. Brilliant football manager interview; friendly, engaging and open but ultimately said feck all Our budget is our business and Robbo is not giving any unnecessary financial encouragement to agents or clubs we might be speaking to.
  13. Funnily enough I just emailed them to ask what if any LC games they are showing on St Mirren TV. I would have expected this to be shared well in advance but it has become the norm to need to ask. Again £150 per year, so it’s not unreasonable to have some expectations of service
  14. One of the best decisions our club took, well done Killie and everyone else who refuse the pander to the self entitled hordes.
  15. Living proof that money doesn’t buy happiness I don’t know him but feck me every photo of him looks miserable.
  16. So 371 professional appearances, a cup winner who is not only an employee of the club you support but also a fellow fan yet still you put the boot into him? FFS did I log into B&WA by mistake. Out of interest how many professional games did you play in? I don't think I will ever understand some of our fans.
  17. Fair enough, I considered the grouping of teams to be the format of the competition and the timing to be separate.
  18. TBH if we had played Montrose in a friendly I would have expected to win, we were awful I have honestly felt this way since they changed the calendar, just my opinion
  19. FFS, you are building a straw man argument to make a point. The difference is the cup started on July 15th and the league starts on August 6th. I believe the first games of the season should be in the league and that the players should be given an adequate time to build MATCH fitness during what is a relatively short preseason. I don't need you to agree with me yet you seem to need me to agree with you. I believe this, you don't.......... fair enough.
  20. I have no issue with the format, just the timing of the start of the competition. The summer is traditionally when clubs do the majority of their transfer business and to have a major cup competition start on July 15th when clubs are still trying to recruit and get fitness is unhelpful.
