  1. PS5 for me - looks great and never had a bad experience with being Playstation loyal from the 1st. Rockstar can ram GTA V right up their backside though. Released on the PS3, re-released on the PS4 and then again on the PS5 - complete and utter joke. Basically £150 + purchasing in-game add-ons/Shark Cards per person for one game. **** right off and give us something original/new which shows off the power and graphics of the new console, not one 2 generations ago (released in 2007).
  2. GET THAT CHAMPAGNE BACK ON ICE LADS! Thank you Hearts/Anderson for your generous donation. We will make sure we mourn you properly.
  3. Taking my very green-tinted specs off, I am for permanent reconstruction (albeit more than 14 teams). Watching your club play the same 11 teams 3-4 times a season is boring as **** and I would welcome clubs like ICT and Heart of Midlothian into our league. On the other hand, watching Hearts get relegated for the 2nd time in 6 years would be funny as anything. A complete and utter win-win for us Hibees.
  4. Surely the permanent reconstruction deal is off the table as well? Ann Budge categorically stated before she only wanted temporary reconstruction, not permanent. Being such a woman of principle, I am assuming she would vote NO to such a motion, meaning 11 other clubs would have to vote YES. Or is she willing (again) to lie, cheat and bribe her way to a stay of execution in the Scottish Premiership? Desperate.
  5. Hibs in for Gogic (left Hamilton), Nisbet (Dunfermline) and Stewart (Ross County). Would be three very good signings IMO, especially Gogic.
  6. To be fair, Claros was actually a good wee player and Doherty has developed into a top player in the English Premier League. That will never, ever make up for this though: The whole stadium went into stunned laughter.
  7. I think we will be in for the most bizarre transfer window in some time. Every club will need to scale back their ambitions and cut their cloth accordingly (well, unless you are Sevco or Hearts where financial obligations are not a concern). But when I say every club, that means the massively bloated English leagues etc as well - I have a feeling, whilst we will have less to spend, there will be a good chance to pick up some real gems and the pool of quality free agents will be a lot bigger.
  8. English League 1 and League 2 clubs are now voting if they are to end the season immediately. They have all voted that the League tables will be settled by a points-per-game format, while promotion and relegation both remain in place if it ends now. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/52705124 Someone go and pass on the details of the lawyer Ann Budge intends on using? Will we see the same crass smear campaigns from all of the EFL losers?
  9. The lawyers must be licking their lips - COVID-19 has bought them endless business. Any team who are relegated in the future can claim they are too big/famous to go down and try take a Pandemic to court.
  10. Absolutely. The fact that all of the Jambos have quoted legal action and not a single one has managed to even muddle together what basis they are making it. Equivalent to me saying I am away out to marry Kate Beckinsale. By all means I can try and slide into her instagram DMs and offer to drop down on one knee, but on what possible basis would she want to go out with an Aberdeen-based Hibee/I have absolutely no grounds to do so. Complete and utter fantasy land.
  11. A proposal to further tighten the Old Firm's grip on our game in exchange for saving Hearts from their deserved fate. This has to be the worst deal of all time. I expect this to be laughed out the room if it ever limps to a vote. Ann Budge showing she is willing to wreck our game in exchange for 1 season of probably still being in and around the relegation zone of the SPFL. I suspect all of the good guys will absolutely smash this apart and that will be the end of it.
  12. I see big Marvin Bartley got Player's Player of the Season 2019/20. Delighted for him. He was a fantastic player for Hibs - a great guy to have on and off the park, a right character and hard as nails. We made a huge mistake letting him go, but has been to Livi's massive gain (and his). Developing into a great pundit as well - so think he is here to stay in our game regardless, which can only be a good thing.
  13. I am really liking the artificial crowd noises in the Bundesliga - somehow makes it a lot more watchable. Never thought I would say that. Only negative is this becomes the norm for televised games and removes the truth (and therefore beauty) behind the game once full crowds are allowed back. Cannot wait for the Old Firm derby's artificial atmosphere. "Jeff, put that one on about being up to their knees in blood, they seem to love that one".
  14. 100%. Heart of Midlothian are trying to drag us all down to the depths with them - ignoring any responsibility whatsoever for their current predicament and blaming everyone else for the fact they finished 12th with the 3rd highest budget in Scotland by a distance. Let them rot, we've got bigger fish to fry.
  15. Just a reminder for all of my fellow Scottish Football supporters. In 2016, Ann Budge said: "I think 42 senior clubs is too many for Scotland. "You're looking at about half that number. "We're not throwing people to the dogs and saying you don't matter. We should be saying this is what will work better for you, what fits your profile." https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36999758 Hearts fans are writing this off as "aye, it was 4 years ago it does not matter". Yes it does - your owner is currently trying to expand the leagues, completely contradicting her incredibly condescending comments in the article post during a time, surprise surprise, when they were not rooted to the bottom of the league. This is hard proof that Hearts are in it for themselves and themselves only. Do not fall for that club's lies.
  16. Hibs could do with Gogic. We are far too powderpuff in Midfield since big Marv moved on (which was a huge mistake). Allan, Mallan, Omeonga, Doherty etc were all really tidy and very good midfielders, but our balance is all wrong.
  17. This James Anderson bloke seems like a genuinely good guy. If I was a Jambo, I would be utterly fuming that our main financial doping funder is about to divert funds from the club to all of the others that are about to send Hearts down. This just won't wash with the so-called smaller clubs. Why should Hearts be saved because they have a rich backer willing to plough money in? If St Mirren, Hamilton etc were in this position but had no such backer, would they be spared? No.
  18. I can definitely feel a Diet Chronicles of the Banter Years coming on @HibsFan. Get it done big man.
  19. Budge offering Scottish Football free COVID-19 testing now but only if league reconstruction is agreed to. Complete and utter desperation. Disgusting to use that as a bribe during these times to be honest.
  20. Can bet your bottom dollar all the Hearts fans would trade the 5-1 game if it excused the following: Administration I Relegation I Relegation II Impending Administration II Hibs winning the cup in 2016 in the greatest Scottish Cup Final ever seen with the most drama, with Hearts playing a major role in our route to the cup. If anything, the 5-1 game killed Hearts as a club, as it sounded in the final bells of the cash-doping (cheating) era before the stark reality of living within your means came home to roost. Hearts have suffered massively since 2012. Hibs have only gotten stronger.
