  1. Hibs should put up a giant projector screen over the away stand and fill the stadium up for weekly viewings of this Heart of Midlothian: Season 2019/20 BBC Documentary. Will be utterly, utterly gold. If Hearts somehow manage to screw up getting out of the Scottish Championship (god, that feels GOOD) next season, I think we will be hitting heights not seen since the peak of the Sevco 2012 banter years. We are close enough already. What a complete and utter joke of a football club. What a time to be alive.
  2. So the stunning precedent has been set - if you finish bottom, you get relegated. Spectacular.
  3. A couple of Jambos reporting hot off the press that they are getting £5m in compensation. What planet are they actually on? Complete and utter space cadets - HOMFC fans have shown consistency in being wrong time and time again throughout this entire saga. You'd think they would learn to shut it. By the way, if it is anywhere near £5m, Scottish Football supporters should unite and boycott enough matches at Tynecastle to blow the compensation amount out of the water.
  4. Only personal preference and accept this will not be popular opinion!
  5. Maybe in the surreal category. Was round at my mates house hanging super badly c.2 years ago making us all breakfast and this came on the TV. Good song and cool vid.
  6. "Hearts made a stunning last minute swoop to beat Edinburgh rivals Hibs to the signing of Dunfermline striker Kevin Nisbet, Courier Sport can reveal. The Pars had accepted a bid in the region of £250,000 for the former Raith Rovers man and the player had agreed personal terms. Nisbet was undergoing his medical with the Easter Road side last night when news came through to him that Hearts had also made an offer that met the Pars’ valuation of the 23-year-old. On top of that, they were trying to change Nisbet’s mind with the carrot of substantially bigger wages. Robbie Neilson rates him highly, and twice tried to bring Dunfermline’s star man to Dundee United – in January and again this summer before he left for Tynecastle. Even with deeper pockets, though, it was too late. Nisbet’s mind was already made up – he wants to play in the Premiership and has bought into the vision outlined by Jack Ross and John Potter – and there will be no sensational U-turn. With Nisbet passing his medical, the transfer should be announced by Hibs today. Former St Johnstone winger Drey Wright will also sign, with a deal for Alex Gogic close as well." That, my friends, is absolutely ****ing glorious. Just when you think things couldn't get any more humiliating for Heart of Midlothian Football Club, they just proceed to throw petrol canisters onto the fire. Thank you, thank you, thank you. (So good, this has been posted on two threads).

  8. Nisbet is an exciting signing for sure. Feels a bit like when we signed John McGinn. If we get Nisbet, Gogic and Wright, our attack and midfield is sorted for next season and we will finally look balanced on those fronts. We desperately need a nasty midfield brute and a foil for Doidge. Our defence is in need of a quality CB and a new LB to challenge Lewy, but it's not a total shipwreck as things stand at least and I am sure we could make do if we had to.
  9. But, but, but, but tick tock? Hibs are skint? Severe financial distress? Hearts ready to cherry-pick our assets? Money is on Nisbet, Gogic and Wright signing for the Hibees. Later deal for Omeonga and possibly J Naismith.
  10. When wee Naisy pops his knee again and spends his remaining professional playing days fizzling out on a physio bed in the Scottish Championship whilst scooping up £6k a week (as he has done for 75% of his Hearts career), maybe that can be added to his so-called comedy strip.
  11. An incredibly annoying song which seemed to resonate with 60% of the UK female population for 4 years: Utter garbage.
  12. One of our undercover Hibees managed to coin the phrase "maroon pound" on Jambos Kickback as a mockery comparing their pathetic actions (tick tock, boycott other clubs, hope they die etc) to Sevco 2012 and their "blue pound". The Hearts supporters are now widely using this term and it is utterly glorious.
  13. I had Season Tickets as a kid/teenager and took a bit of a break when I moved to Aberdeen. Following our relegation in 2014, I bought my Season Ticket back with the primary motivation of helping and supporting the club through a difficult period. It has been worth every single penny (despite not making every game) and has been a joy to be a part of our journey since those dark days. It is amazing to think that in 2014, 10,000 season tickets was a complete and utter pipe-dream. Now, it feels like we have fully grown from a "core" of 5,000-6,000 up to 9,000-10,000. When you couple that 10,000 number with the most difficult economic and health circumstances we will collectively face as a club/society, it really is an exciting time to be a Hibee. 10,000 people willing to support the club for the love of it. If you are still considering buying one, just do it. You will become an even more integral part of our evolution and can help our club come out of this as the strongest in Scotland (outside of the Old firm).
  14. Delicious. PLEASING (as they like to say). Victory for the good guys. Enjoy the Championship and don't let the door hit you on the way out Hearts. LOSERS!
  15. Please, please, please, please, PLEASE...be Arbitration. If the court rules for Arbitration in c.20 minutes time, it effectively draws a line under this highly embarrassing episode for Scottish Football and stops any further escalation dead in its tracks. The ongoing result of that outcome would be a shuddering, comprehensive halt to Heart of Midlothian's cries after multiple knock-backs from every perceivable level in the game. Hopefully at this point, the Scottish Footballing authorities can throw the book at them for bringing the game into severe disrepute and look forward to financial and/or points/league docking as adequate reparation. Mon the Judge.
  16. Celtic the biggest team in Glasgow. Hibs the biggest team in Edinburgh. Aberdeen the biggest team in...Aberdeen.
  17. I think, in response to the disgusting vitriol from the supporters and ownership of HOMFC (and for dragging our game through the dirt), all SPFL clubs who voted to end the season early democratically in the face of a global pandemic/biggest threat to our game ever should boycott Tynecastle Park for the foreseeable future. The £8m compensation claim and court action is a complete slap in the face to us all, but collectively we can deal so much more damage to them than they ever could do to us.
  18. A fair and balanced assessment. Undoubtedly, as a Hibs fan, I fully accept the majority of fans on either side of the Edinburgh divide are essentially the same. But they do seem to have a real radical Sevco element to their support: complete arrogance and fully blinkered to the bigger picture around them. We do not suffer them - our nut jobs at least seem to know where everything slots in within the bigger picture.
  19. The palpable seethe and anger from Heart of Midlothian's staff and supporters is a real joy to watch. They have now hit the deepest depths of mindless rambling to pull up as much smoke and mirrors as possible to paper over the fact there is absolutely nothing they are going to be able to do to stop their deserved relegation. As hilarious as it is, the wishes and prayers from HOMFC supporters for as many clubs to die as possible is absolutely outrageous. You have been relegated (deservedly) for probably at worst 75% of a year, yet you think adequate reparation is the wide-scale liquidation of the majority of the Scottish clubs who voted democratically for the fairest and least damaging collective outcome? Have a word with yourself and be careful what you wish for. Enjoy the Championship, you losers.
  20. Sevco are the only club in the world I hate. I would happily see them dead and buried, never coming back. Hearts are exceptionally annoying neighbours, especially just now. But ultimately, 80% of our fans are pretty much the same and the rivalry is one of the great benefits of supporting Hibs. Celtic have somewhat quieted over recent years - helps they have achieved 9AR. I suspect, once their streak comes to an end and their chips start to go down, they will crawl back up to their previous level of annoyance.
  21. Robbie and the Jambos board have very very short memories. Belter.
