  1. If I thought you had the capacity to understand the gravity of the situation your club finds itself in and the fallout it's selfishness has created then I would continue with this debate. However, as it is quite clear that you and many other SevCo fans have the intellectual reactions of Pavlov's dogs, I'll just pat your head, give you a lollipop and send you on your way blissfully ignorant. Poor wee lamb.
  2. Ohhhhhhhhhhh and yet more deflection. When your club is finally buried, on it's gravestone will be the words "Aye, but whit aboot them??? Eh? Eh?"
  3. What Green will next say is that he gave the money over to the powers that be at Hampden and that they were going to hand it over to the clubs, and therefore it's not his fault that the clubs haven't got their money it's the SFA/SPL. They in turn will say they have no idea what Green is on about as they haven't been in contact with him for ages. But it doesn't matter what Green says anymore. He has whipped up a distrust of everything SFA/SPL with the SevCo fans and whilst they may not trust him, they certainly trust the SFA/SPL even less. The guy is begging for the fans to buy season tickets, and you now have clowns like Sandaza coming out and saying that they can do the quadruple this season and that the reason he signed for the club was because of it's season ticket sales!!! SevCo and it's fans are like the very fat guy that goes to the doctor's complaining of shortness of breath. The doc tells him he is obese and needs to lose weight. The guy, says he is more worried that he can't breath. Doc, again states that this is due to him being fat and MUST lose weight. Fatty then leaves doctor's still puzzled about how his breathing can be affected by his weight, and feels a bit down that the doc couldn't couldn't help. So he goes to McDs to cheer himself up. He then tries another doctor, and is told the same thing, and another, another. All tell him it is because he is fat. Eventually he ends up in hospital critically ill, but when his equally fat mates turn up they bring him a McDs to cheer him up!!! The point is no one at SevCo or it's fans actually wants to hear the truth. They fear if they hear the truth then it will be come true only because they heard it. Yet it would still have happened anyway. Green needs to show written proof of these debts having been paid. He needs to show proof of where the fans money is going. The fans are under the illusion that if they do all they can, and give every last penny they have to the club, then it will rise up "again". But yet none of them have any idea where their money is going. Some SevCo fans on here are too busy slagging off everyone for their grammar or comments, because they would rather return to type than question if their loyalty to the club is warranted. There comes a point sometimes when no matter how loyal you are to a friend, you just can't defend them anymore. SevCo are relying on the fans to remain "Rangers 'til I die." Is it loyalty or blind faith?
  4. Is it just me or does Charles Green look like a slightly older version of Mark Knopfler, even though he is younger?
  5. Just watched The Men Who Sold the Jerseys again, and it got me thinking there are still so many unanswered questions. Probably even more questions than answers now since Green took over.
  6. SevCo and it's fans don't do bigotry, because they definitely, certainly, positively aren't the same club as OldCo. They can't be the same club, because Green said that he paid the footballing debts (Scotland only) even though they weren't his club's debts to pay and he didn't have to pay them. And they shouldn't be punished for what the old club did, because they aren't the old club, they are the new club that is just holding onto the old club's ground, players, staff, titles etc for a wee while until the bad men of clearly cafflick persuasion come along and take the lot away. And if there were any bigoted shouts, songs, etc coming from the fans then I am sure the club would clampdown on them very hard as they want to be seen to be a club of the 21st century that isn't living in the past. So what exactly is the official stance? Are they just rangers in disguise and therefore it's warranted to punish them for what they have done over the past 20 years? Or are they a completely new club, that moved in like squatters after the old club moved out, and just thought they would use the stuff that was left lying about?
  7. The 'ficial website says that the club was "forced" to change the strip. Good to see that the club no longer still panders to the knuckle draggers that have no life other than supporting rangers and hating everything else.
  8. For many months now many on here that aren't SevCo fans have been banging our heads against a thick (or is it brick?) wall as we try to explain to SevCo fans why we dislike everything the club stands for. We hear ourselves saying over and over again, "How can you not get this?????", but sadly the "thinking", if that's what it can be called, of SevCo fans remains the same. Another great example of a "WTF?!?!?!?" moment has again come via that unintentionally funny SevCo 'ficial website with this gem........ http://www.rangers.co.uk/index.php/news/headlines/item/1718-gers-forced-into-strip-change It appears that the bad boys of officialdom over at Hampden have persecuted SevCo yet again!!! Surely they have suffered enough? Now they were "forced" to change from their "third new kit" against Peterhead because it clashed with Peterhead's home strip. As "the second kit is not yet available" they were "forced" to wear training tops, which I have no doubt played a major part in not winning 0-15. Next they will be complaining that it is a cafflick conspiracy that they must play on green grass!!! I look forward to more moments of stunning stupidity from SevCo and it's fans over the coming months until they implode.
  9. Can't see these guys going to sevco and the club not paying at least half their wages, which for Newcastle could be quite a lot.
  10. My fucking mobile is broken!!!! I went to check the sevco score and it says 2-2. Surely it must be 2-12?!?!?!?
  11. You are right ofcourse. I have always been envious of your team. I mean they have won the parasite league, as you call it, more times than any other team, so they must be awesome. It's all so clear now. That's sarcasm by the way. Ask Kincardine your team's wordsmith to explain it to you. Apparently he's learning a new big word every day. Today's word is "anachronistic". Hi Kincardine. Hi pal. :-) Don't worry, I'm sure your lashing out at people's comments whilst not actually admitting that any of what they said is untrue, is in no way a reflection of how deluded you are. Now run along like a good little boy. Those lighters and sport socks won't sell themselves you know.
  12. More ear tickling of the SevCo fans today in the media. First up is the DR (shock horror) with this gem.... Gers eye Faure. A 21 year old former Lyon defender. Ohhhhh that sounds good for the SevCo fans. But hang on a second. Is this the same Faure that was released on a free by Lyon after never having played a single league game? Is he the same player that played as a trialist for Leeds last month but they decided to pass on him? Aye, he sounds better than the home grown talent coming out of Murray Park. Craig Beattie hints Green ko'd move to Rangers. Craig says he wasn't holding out for more money and that Ally tried to sign him but Green text his agent saying thanks, but no thanks. Hmmmmm I thought we were told yesterday that Sally and Green were singing from the same hymn sheet, and that Green fully backed Sally, as Sally did Green. Strange And last but by no means least is the SevCo official website..... Season Ticket Sales reach 25K. There have been huge queues at the Rangers Ticket Centre over the last few days as Gers followers have turned up in great numbers to back the team. And their phenomenal support is summed up by a landmark figure which McCoist would love to see get even bigger. Hawd on a sec. How is it a "landmark figure"? So according to the 'ficial website, by friday (today) at noon there have been 25000 season tickets sold, and this was due in no small part to the "huge queues" over the last few days. Hmmmmm I must have missed something because I am pretty sure that on tuesday night when he was interviewed by El Chico, Green stated quite clearly that there had been 20000 season tickets sold up until then but that another 5000 were pending because they hadn't gotten around to processing them yet. So I make that by tuesday they had effectively 25000 season ticket holders according to 'ficial reports. So what were the "huge crowds" queuing for this week????? It couldn't have been season tickets because Sally had said that the sales have reached 25k now. Does that mean Green wasn't being entirely truthful on tuesday night about the figures? (really??? Nooooo, I'm shocked) Billionaires set to invest. But as usual Green doesn't want to say who. Although as someone in work mentioned this morning, saying a billionaire is interested doesn't necessarily mean he will put billions in. It's been said that billionaire Mike Ashley is buying a 10% stake in the club at a cost of £1 million. But I guess the blue tinted media think the word billionaire looks better to the SevCo fans and it will get them all moist at the thought of all this money pouring in so they can win the CL in 5 years time. Wait!!!! Sorry, got a touch of deja vu there. All seemed very familiar. Hmmmmmmm Blues will fuel interest. Seems Dave Longmuir is getting in on the act and saying that SevCo being in the 3rd division is now GOOD for Scottish football and will peak people's interest. All those SevCo fans that live in the back of beyond where only diddy teams play can then go along and see SevCo play their local team. Well, you know as opposed to supporting their local team. And yet more drivel from Longmuir......... "If you're a young Scottish talented footballer who is trying to make it, you've a chance to show what you can do on and probably on television when Rangers come to town. "There's a chance to show others in Scottish football that we've got talent here as well which is worthy of note. "When I was growing up, some of the biggest transfers took place within the game and bigger clubs such as Rangers looked in their own back yard for the next crop of talent. "I hope we get back to seeing something like that and if I was in the lower divisions at the moment, I'd be upping my game and showing what I've got." So it looks like he is suggesting that we go back (not that far mind) to the days when a player would play well against rangers, they would buy the player for pennies, and we would never hear from him again. As for players "upping" their game, oh I can definitely see some of the SevCo players getting "upped" into the front row of a stand this season.
  13. Mark Hatefigure still trying to pull the wool over the SevCo fan's eyes in the DR today................. "Emilson Cribari, won't be as well known to the Rangers support but a look at his CV suggests he will be a good addition. The Brazilian is 32, has played Champions League with Lazio and made more than 100 appearances for the Serie A side." This wasn't last season Mark, or the season before, or the season before that. The guy has played 14 games in 2 seasons and even managed to get into the Serie A worst team of the year!!! "McCoist's signing policy has been backed in hard cash by Charles Green and the new owners of Rangers." "Hard cash" eh? And you know this how? Because as far as I am aware Green hasn't told anyone, and that includes McCoist, where the money, if there is any is coming from. But the award for most idiotic, let's tickle the fans ears, let's forget the mistakes made over the past 20 years goes to....... "He wants to reward them for their loyalty, I have no doubt about that. And the biggest reward he can give them is the Scottish Cup or the League Cup. This season." I despair at times.
  14. The reason I asked was because a few years ago some athletes were asked something along the lines of, "If you could take performance enhancing drugs to win an Olympic gold medal, not get caught, but die earlier in life than they would have without taking the drugs, would they still take the drugs?" And the majority of the athletes they asked said yes they would take the drugs. Maybe it's different for us "diddy teams". I support my club because, well, I just do. Win, lose or draw, they will always be my club. If someone said to me that for the next 40 years the Jags would stay in the 1st division, win no trophies, and every season would be mediocre (pretty much the same as it is just now, lol) I would still love and support them the same as I always have. Would The Rangers fans still do the same? As an onlooker and someone with The Rangers supporters as friends, a lot of their season revolves around how they compare with Celtic and less to do with just supporting their club, "just because". They always have to go one better than "them". This whole push from Sir Dave all those years ago relied on one thing.......being better than Celtic at all costs. Now let's get back to present day. None of my bluenose friends are even thinking about the next 3 years. Not one of them. All they care about is the season they are "back" in the SPL and going head to head with Celtic. They don't even really want to face Celtic in cup games before then in case they get gubbed and probably won't have another chance in a couple of months to get revenge. We all know that once (or is that if) The Rangers get into the SPL, the fans will not be happy with just that. They demand success. Sir Dave said about 4 years ago that the spending of the past couldn't keep going and that the club would need to bring young talent through, "otherwise what would be the use of Murray Park?" The club this season had the perfect chance to bring these young players through. Let's not kid ourselves, most of these "rising stars" as the media likes to call them would get nowhere near the first team if the club hadn't gone tits up. But instead of giving these lads a chance and risk not zooming up the leagues into the SPL asap, the club has went back to type and brought players in that can't believe they are getting the wages offered. Incidentally, a poster asked on here earlier if the £7000 a week was just speculation by the media. Probably. But, on tuesday night Chic Young did ask Charles Green about the financing of players earning £7000 a week, and whilst he never actually answered the question put to him, he didn't deny the amount mentioned. If you support the club because you really would follow them through thick and thin, then fair play to you. But your club was given a mulligan this time, and it doesn't appear to have learned it's lesson. Instead of marching on Hampden and demanding that the SFA and SPL give you answers, maybe it's about time that you turned your inquisition to Ibrox before it is too late. Whilst I have no great affection for The Rangers (may come as a surprise to a lot of you, lol), I do genuinely feel sorry for the "real" fans of any club. Not the ones that just love to bask in the glory of winning things. The club is and has for a number of years, treated it's fans like little kids. "Oh you must buy the latest top so we can buy better players." "We need you to get behind the team." "Let's all wear orange tops as a show of thanks to our Dutch contingent." And the latest from McCoist about buying season tickets and preventing redundancies is disgusting. We even had wee grannies giving their pension money to the fighting fund, to a club that pisses it away because they know they have the fans on the end of a piece of string. Where exactly did that woman's money go??? Ad nauseum. Do you REALLY need to be told to get behind the team? Do you really think that they bring out a new top every fortnight for your benefit? When your own manager openly admits that he has no idea who is financing the club and therefore where the money, if there is any, is coming from then it is not only your right but also your duty to demand answers. Then keep demanding until you get them. This is YOUR club, not the players, not the suits. YOURS. If nothing else, remember one thing..... Rangers/The Rangers/SevCo have lied, cheated and been dishonest not just to Scotland and the other clubs, but more importantly to it's own fans. Right, I'm away to text my mate that The Rangers have signed Craig Gordon and got Andy Carroll on loan. He's a The Rangers fan and will swallow anything!!!
  15. Serious question to the SevCo fans on here. Would you rather your club was a "clean athlete" that participated in Scottish football for years and years to come, but was never really good enough to win the SPL? ie a diddy team. or Would you rather support a club that "took drugs" in an attempt to win everything, but in the long term would have fatal consequences? What I am getting at is, would you rather see your club plod along for generations to come, or win everything in sight for the next 4 or 5 seasons and then die for good? No Rangers. No THE Rangers. No SevCo. No SevCo 2.0.
  16. Rangers? Aye they're just a wee diddy team with a big midden they can't fill. (Well according to 'ficial figures on tuesday night)
