  1. Name a poster on P&B who doesn't have the intelligence or quick-fire ability to hold their own against DRoss. ...alright, other than me. Trans panic as far back as the 9th century!
  2. The Bucket List Schindler's List
  3. "Hey lads, we're thinking of packing you off to camps in a country thousands of miles away from our jurisdiction, best known internationally for an outbreak of mass hysteria that resulted in more than a million people being hacked to death with machetes" Just cannot imagine why anyone would flee screaming in terror into the underground because of this. People, eh?
  4. That's the same argument for dissolving parliament in Westminster too. If we're going to get rid of the chancing shysters, might as well clear house altogether and allow free rein to the high heid chancing shysters at Buck House. Just think of the money we'd save that could be pumped into the NHS!
  5. Racism's acceptable again; you just pretend that everyone gets called a racist and you're cushty. "Meaningless, innit". It's quite funny that the word still holds such power that racists react with horror when their dictionary-definition views are correctly labelled thus. I was sure they'd have proudly reclaimed it by now.
  6. I'm glad somebody finally had the balls to put his name forward. Considering he's got time on his hands the noo, he should genuinely give politics a crack. What's the worst that could happen? Boris Johnson couldn't construct a fully-formed sentence either and he did alright.
  7. Can be summarised as "YOU'RE THE REAL RACIST GET BACK TO YOUR OWN COUNTRY EVERY BRITTISH PERSON AGREES WITH ME" The "everyone agrees with me" bit is so common among racists. Life must be very confusing for them.
  8. Could just make this the Willie Rennie Memorial Thread TBVQHWY
  9. FTFY Oh aye. I'm sure we can guess what you do with yours
  10. The idea of paying the disabled at lower rates has also been floated by various Conservative figures in the past fifteen years, along with their desire to have low-paid work performed by the unemployed in exchange for broo money. The public's temperature was taken and found to be cold on the former, and they were blocked by those pesky Brussels bureaucrats for the latter. They have their groups of humans considered garbage that should be encouraged to stop living, by making their lives as difficult and miserable as possible. Public morals and the ECHR dictate how far they're able to go to pursue that. Who knows how much longer either of those will be a barrier.
  11. What's REFUK's stance on independence anyway? They're big on self-determination and getting it right up the oppressive foreign dictators. I hear they're totally not fascists too, so they sound great. Might look up their policies.
  12. You know you're going to get pushback on morally reprehensible opinions like this though. This is right down there with Hirohito's declaration that the Chinese weren't to be thought of as human beings. Just appalling.
  13. Not necessarily; let's be positive. There's bound to be a sidelined MSP somewhere who'll switch after the election. It keeps coming up that (IIRC) about 4% of Ruth Davidson's Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party are believers in independence, so there's that. Must be like when chapters of the KKK get the occasional African-American trying to join because they like big crosses and fire, and are willing to overlook everyone else hating them.
  14. Apologies for the source, but this popped up on my phone today; I'd forgotten that Buckie got pumped by Celt or gers in the cup this season, but knowing the bloody SFA they won't have taken that into account like they should https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/12566264/buckie-thistle-celtic-cup-play-off-football-bill-leckie/
  15. We could probably do with getting the inevitable Forbes out of the way now, rather than another "safe pair of hands". We all know it's coming eventually, whether it's her or one of the Abla crew, and it'll go about as well as you'd imagine. Folk have mentioned Humza Youseless being our Liz Truss, but he's more of an Iain Duncan-Smith or Theresa May figure - the proper lunacy is still to come.
  16. Being a leftie ain't what it used to be. I think it automatically includes anyone who doesn't spit on the homeless and set fire to drowning asylum seekers (quite the challenge). In America, the primary sign of being a Marxist appears to be thinking that racism exists, as a general concept. Christ knows what they've decided Fascism is.
  17. Is it though? I thought about making a thread on this topic a while ago, as I can remember a few tournaments where the winners were on dogshit form right up to the knockout stage. It's obviously preferable to be doing well, but it would be interesting to see. Also, they were on poor form until last month, and have only won two games; still a bit early to be thinking they're back to their traditional best, surely. It gets pointed out a lot on here that tournament odds have less to do with who bookies think will win, and more about what they think will get them the most revenue, as evidenced by the fact that England generally get different odds elsewhere in Europe to the ones we see. The gamblers will know more than me, but Germany being third favourites might be more to do with them being a popular bet here and the bookies wanting to limit their risk on a traditional superpower. Technically we can win the tournament without scoring a single goal. I don't see John McGinn allowing that to happen though.
  18. Thankfully I think I've missed the "I can still pull off the young team's look" phase of decrepitude Edit: mainly because I couldn't pull off the young team's look when I was one of them.
  19. I'm assuming that's another pissweak troll attempt from a serial offender, considering the Lib Dems are very much part of the "anything but independence" camp.
  20. The name's not familiar, but I've probably heard a few of their songs.
  21. One of my many "I'm officially out of touch" moments in recent years has been the rise of laddies with wee skinny legs wearing skintight troosers to accentuate it. Seems very popular. Maybe a throwback to the Seventies glam rock look?
  22. Ooft, just seen his other posts. Talk about self-reporting. Edit: is this PerthshireBell again? He's the lad who gets wound up about traffic stuff, isn't he?
  23. Are we thinking that most folk just aren't aware of Forbes' views/abilities and think she looks like a nice lassie, but they'll be in for a shock if she takes over? Ash Regan permanently looks like someone took a shit on her porch and she's not impressed by how the polis are handling it, so that's probably what scuppered her.
